Those who have followed the ‘SEADOGS CAN FLY’ series over on Youtube may have noticed my Football Manager 2020 Newgen faces look very different. I love regens (yes, I know the official term is newgen, I don’t care!) but lets be honest, the graphics need an update. So for those wanting to know how to upgrade your FM 2020 Newgen faces, we have a fix.
‘Chilled Mouse’ aka Laura has created hundreds of Avatars you can use to upgrade your FM20 regen faces. Here are some examples from my Scarborough save.

How to download These FM 2020 Avatar Graphics
This does come at a cost but it is ridiculously low, Laura offers a bronze, silver and gold subscription starting from $2 per month. You can view all the options from her Patreon page here.
I am on the silver package which gets me more than enough faces, database downloads and much much more. This costs just $5 per month and if you only want to upgrade your Football Manager 2020 Newgen Faces you could do this within the first months subscription…we do however highly recommend subscribing long term as Laura updates her graphics on a regular basis.
Once subscribed you will gain access to the downloads and installation instructions. You can either have FM 2020 regen faces automatically assigned to players or manually assign your favourite avatars to each Football Manager 2020 Newgen face in your squad. I chose the latter to make each player more personal.
The FM community maybe rich with free downloads but none are to this level. Laura’s work must take an age to create so supporting her efforts — for such a small fee — seems fair to me. The link again for those who are interested is here.

Hi there.
I was looking for a facepack like that for ages. So if I subscribe, then I’ll also get all the installation instructions? Can I ask you why did you prefer do it manually? Don’t you have to replace ALL the newgen faces doing that way? Otherwise they’ll keep those ugly faces.
I want to have all the newgens (not only those alrady in game but future ones) already with those new faces. Would that be possible?

Hi, this made and run by someone outside of this website we simply shared. Yes you do get instructions and I chose to do manually because I only give MY Newgens faces and leave the rest as default. It is very complicated to change every Newgen face that is why I opted for the manual option.
It is possible to update all faces but seems hard work to me. You’d need to speak to Laura who makes the packs with any questions though.
