Hi everyone, year 2012 has ended in my game and i’m ready to give you a two month update of November and December.
Here are the results of the 12 games played here:
So managed to pick up 19 points out of a possible 36, more than half but we should have picked up more. We should have picked up full 6 points against peterborough and Mk Dons as they are pretty easy opponents. We only went on a consistent run of winning games once, and we managed to beat WBA which was quiet suprising, in that run. Injuries were also a factor of us ‘drawing games, instead of winning’ Ali Fuseini (my best player), Paulo (my best defender), Daniel De Ridder (consistently good) all suffered injuries at the same time! I always seem to have a bad patch of injuries with this team throughout a season :/
The best result of these batch of games was definately the 2-1 win away to WBA. They still have most of the team that played in the PL before they got relegated and it was a wonderful result for us!
So after all this, the league table shows we are 1 point away from entering the play off positions (if other teams drop points) Automatic promotion is just to far ahead of us now, and we are just not consistent enough to have any chance of getting it.
My best midfielder and my best striker lead the way in the average ratings charts…
So the January transfer window has approached, I actually don’t know which positions we need to stengthen in. Our player are good, they just won’t perform as good as they can… Maybe we need a new striker, Caleb Folan is just poo and Sergio Van Dijk only managed to score 3 goals in the past two months. Wellington Silva comes to mind :D

That’s not bad at all Sayam, the team is safely in the top half of the table and you also have a good chance of ending up in the top six. I guess that you are right, a new striker could do some good and it would be great if you could get Wellington Silva. Good luck!

Thanks Johnny, yeah we may need a new a striker, Arsenal always accept the loan offer of Silva, its just a case of him accepting to come on loan to Gigg Lane.

Still a good season so far!
Your are a fair way from the automatic places but you are still in and around the playoff’s still a long way to go but at least you are at the right end of the table!
Good luck on finding the key players you are missing, hopefully you have some money to bring in some fresh faces as sometimes thats all you need.

Hey Sayam, that was a great set of results in my opinion. You’re back on track and in with the big boys. I reckon a quality striker could see you reach the play-offs or even challenge the top two. :)

Good couple of months Sayam, you’re in a good position at the moment, and you have a good chance to push on and try and get a play off spot in the second half of the season. If you sign Wellington Silva then you would have an ever bigger chance, he would be a good signing. Good luck for the rest of the season!

You are still looking good for a play-off place. Hopefully you are able to bring in some quality strikers in the transfer window and push you to a higher finish.
