Hi everyone, today I am happy to bring you another update of my Bury story. As you know we were at the end of 2012 last time I left you, this post will take us to the end of February!
Before I start we bought in two new signings, who are both midfielders, but no new striker… Caleb Folan returned to form just at the right time! Wellington Silva rejected to join us again as did lots of other strikers!
We already have 7 midfielders at the club but only 2 are performing consistently and 1 is average. The rest are below average. So I bought in Josh Maceachran (on loan) and Khaled Lammouchia who is now my best midfielder. He is 31, but he is different class!
RESULTS
So as the title says, «Bury have upped the tempo!» and at the perfect time also! On league win was suffered in 9 games. I’m pretty chuffed with this run of form… However we were against a lot of teams from the bottom half of the table.
The best result has to be the last game of the two month period.
1 — We had no fit left back, 17 yr old Bradley Garston had to fill this vacant slot.
2 — Both first team CB’s were out injured (sodge & Paulo)
3 — Connor Coady (4th choice CB) got sent off in the 8th minute
4 — Game was won by a piece of majic of new signing Khaled Lammouchia, I told you he is different class!
We are 4th in the league table level on points with 3rd and 9 points away from an automatic promotion spot. With 13 games to go I think we have a good chance of achieving that….

Great run of form Sayam, that’s left you with a decent chance of getting automatic promotion if you can keep it up. Then again, just a play off spot would be a good finish, you’ll certainly get that, hopefully you can push even higher up the league :) Good luck!

Thanks Laxeyman, yeah play spot would be a good finish, however im not totally ruling automatic promotion out at this stage!

Good going Sayam, well done! Now you’re nine points behind second but also nine points ahead of the seventh placed and I think that you’ll be going more towards the top than towards the bottom in the following months. Good luck mate, you’re in with a real chance for promotion and that’s just fabulous!

Wow, that’s an amazing run your team is on. I’m sure you can get a play off spot, but can you shock us all and get that automatic spot :-D??? Anyhow, good luck!

Yes sears it would be a great shock, however it is quiet far at the moment. Hopefully we get a play off spot at least…

Great run mate. I think you’ll defo make the play-offs…automatic promotion is too far away maybe, but you never know with that form. Looking forward to your next update :)
