World Cup Contest Table and Quarter Finals Schedule
Hello dear friends, the World Cup round of 16 is over now and eight teams made it through to the quarter finals. Uruguay, Ghana, Germany, Argentina, Holland, Brazil, Paraguay and Spain will battle it out for a place in the semi finals and a shot at the golden trophy. Our contest table is pretty tight at the moment as we are approaching the end of the tournament, there are quite a few contenders that have a good chance of claiming our prize, a copy of Football Manager 2011!

Going to give the quarter a go have a good feeling bout Uruguay. Although I think the Argentina v Germany will be a draw Argentina will triumph. Argentina ftw. Good luck to everyone else :)

I’m a bit confused by that extra time goal mention, I clearly said that «you should predict the score at the end of 90 minutes, what happens in extra time or during the penalty shoot out does not count in our contest!». Please clarify, thanks.

I can’t take that credit :) but what a match that was, best so far. Holland should’ve punctured that game at the end when they were 3 on 1 at the end. But my Huntelaar (Milan) wasted the ball with a bad pass to Robben (i think.)

It was a great game, Holland did very well to come back from behind, there aren’t many teams that can do that against Brazil. I hope they’ll meet Argentina in the final and get revenge for 1978.

Nope, the most optimistic was a 3-1 for Germany if I remember correctly.
