Hello friends and greetings from yet another snowy day in Toronto.
As you recall my Wrexham game came to a sudden end last week with «the death»of my PC but now I’m up and running again with a new story. I don’t know why it is so difficult to choose a new team as I always struggle but eventually have settled on BSP side Cambridge United.
Team Details
Cambridge play their home games at The Abbey Stadium which I liked the sound of and so that drew me to the team. Just over half the stadium is seated and lets hope I can fill all those seats and more by the end of the season.

I’ve set out my season expectations already, telling the board I can win promotion which maybe just a little ambitious but I’m planning on bringing in one or two familiar faces from my Wrexham game so hopefully they will perfrom equally as well on the opposite side of the country.
Well that’s basically it for this introductory post, the next one will be my pre-season report featuring all the transfer actvity, results and other news.

Good choice Kevin, the club has a nice history and a pretty good stadium at this level. You will have to cut down some wage expenses but I’m sure that you will get that promotion right away, best of luck!

Good luck Kevin! Personally i would have liked to see you take charge of a foreign team but i have no doubts that this story will be as good as the Wrexham one :).

Well I almost brought you a Toronto FC story but the whole squad cap, salary cap etc was too much aggrevation, hnece anotther similar stroy. I would like to do a foreign team at some point…it’s just finding the right one.

Yeah I guess your right, it’s hard to pull away from a league that has little rules and regulations you have to abide by. Would have loved to see how you handled it though.

Finally…its good to have you back Kevin. Losing the Wrexham game was a disaster. But Cambridge seem like a good team to manage. Also a very nice area to live so I think it would be a nice move in real life if you were a young up and coming manager. Anyway, I’m looking forward to another lower league miracle. :)
