    Alright, I’ll go against the mainstream on some of the these. Otherwise you won’t get the big scores. Edit* Noticed that Martin also drew the second game.

    New Zealand vs Slovakia X (1-1)

    Ivory Coast vs Portugal X (1-1)

    Brazil vs North Korea 1 (5-0)

    This feels like good day.

    New Zealand has the youngster Chris Wood, I’m looking for him to cause an upset against Slovakia.

    those pesky Germans should have just cruised at 3-0 then I would be winning. But they had to show off and get a fourth.

    Just noticed that I’ve put my middle score the wrong way. I meant for Portugal to win 2-1.

    @Majk
    I’m quite curious to see New Zealand too. I watched them last year at the Confederations Cup and I wasn’t impressed at all.
    @Chris @ Chester
    Those Germans never stop, they show no mercy…
    @Markjulian
    It’s alright mate, good luck!

    New Zealand only qualified because of Australias move to the Asian section.

    New Zealand 0-2 Slovakia
    Ivory Coast 1-1 Portugal
    Brazil 4-0 North Korea

    Here we go…..:-)

    New Zealand V Slovakia 2 (0-2)
    Ivory Coast V Portugal X (1-1)
    Brazil V North Korea 1 (4-0)

    7-0 Johnny — thats a brave prediction! Although I saw that North Korea had to train in the same gym as the locals — so it could be possible.

    Cheers

    Funny thing about North Korea is that their best striker is set up as their third goalie in an attempt to maximize the amount of offensive players in the squad. But FIFA ruled that their striker now has to feature as a goalie and can not be used on the pitch.

    Injuries and such could rearrange things I’ve heard, but still a Massive fail from North Korea. *chuckle*

    What can I say… New Zealand manages to catch a late equaliser.

    :P What a break for me. It’s their first ever point in the WC.

    That’s the biggest upset of the tournament so far, everybody said that New Zealand are the weakest team of them all…

  27. Sears

    15 июня, 2010 at 14:28

    Yes, that’s a big upset… I really thought Solvakia would win it easy… Fiar play to New-Zealand for not giving hope! Signs of a good team,battling until the end.

    Darn it, this is the lowest scoring world cup so far for years, where are their shooting boots?

  32. Sears

    15 июня, 2010 at 21:25

    No one expected North Korea to put in such a good display against Brazil! Watch out Ivory Coast and Portugal,, I think we may have a major upset at this world cup!

  33. Johnny Karp

    15 июня, 2010 at 21:33

    Hats off for North Korea, those guys deserve to be applauded for what they did tonight. I might add something to what Sears said, nobody played with so much courage against Brazil. Well done lads, I will surely support them in the next games.
