Hi again,
Another post on my Real Union Story takes us into 2024 and into the transfer window.
So first things is a player departure so lets have a look at that :
Transfers Out
As you can see a huge amount of money gained, infact he is now our record at £32.5 million beating our wonderful Brazilian Neymar who went to Chelsea!
I was happy with the money but also a little dissapointed to lose him as he had started to forge a real understanding with Mazza our Argentine defender. His performances were improving but the money was just too good to turn down.
Players In
So I decided I needed to replace him and using my Brazilian connection I decided to buy the under 19 captain of the Brazilian team.
I also used my place at Brazil to sign another!! This time a striker as Kramaric hits a high age, and will need replacing. So first up our new defender :
Marcao
I payed almost £6.5 million for him but at 17 already has a lot of promise. He is like a younger Leo who was a hero at the club and hopefully he can develop into that kind of player.
Julio Cesar
Marcao was followed by fellow Brazilian Julio Cesar who I payed £14 million for. I wanted someone who could just slot straight into the team, rather than a younger player who I must develop and found the perfect man. He played at Murcia so I know he can score goals at la liga level, and is becoming a starter at national level so was very pleased.
La Liga Table And Results
So my team remain unbeaten 28 games gone and we have a real chance of going all season undefeated! Again nothing really to special about the results as more were comfortable wins. A couple of dissaponting ones including the home game at Sevilla, home at Zaragoza and away at Vallodolid.

Despite our great season were are only 5 points clear of Real Madrid in second but we have a fantastic goal difference.
The Champions League
Well Juventus let themselves down as we comfortably beat them over two legs. Cesar the hero in Italy scoring twice and giving us the advantage. They then had a man sent of after 10 minutes in Spain and my side punished them by scoring 4 times.
We meet French side Saint Etienne next and have a good chance of progressing further.
The Spanish Cup
So off to the final!
Murcia proved a stern test as expected but Celta were well beaten at home. We tried our best to throw the game away at Valencia with them scoring 3 times in 11 first half minutes!
But Atutxa saved the day with a brilliant freekick to set up a final against Real Madrid.
Player Ratings
So Velasco continues to shine this season scoring 7 free kicks his best in his career. David as always is very clinical and Peter Lowe is having a wonderful season too.
Atutxa is an acadamy player and is strong captain contender when Castaignos retires and Lopez Fernandes has been brilliant. Our record signing has struggled with injury but Julio Cesar has scored 5 times in 10 games.

Hi Ana, you’re having a wonderful season, well done! I think the league will be yours again, and you’ve got a great chance in the Champions League and the Spanish Cup. The two new Brazilians look like good players, I think they’ll serve you well. Hopefully you can go the whole season unbeaten in the league, good luck!

Fantastic season so far Ana! I relly hope you can go the season unbeaten, that would be wonderful achievment! You will for sure win the title again ! You signed a really promising youngster from Brazil and he will turn out to be a star player for you in the future. That new striker looks to be a very good poacher! You have a good chance of progressing further in the Champions League. Good luck against Madrid in the Spanish Cup final. Looking at the table they seem to be a very good and well organized team! Great Season So Far, The Title Is Nearly Yours But R. Madrid Are Proving Tough To Shake Off !
The Signings Are Good And I Hope Marcao Can Replace Bisaku Sufficiently!
Anyway Good Luck With The Rest Of The Season And I Hope You Can Remain Unbeaten.

@ Laxeyman — Thanks! I play the same formation for Brazil as Real Union, so I know that Julio Cesar can play as one of my two strikers. Alongside David we could have a deadly duo!
@ Sears — I agree! I have never gone unbeaten so would be a wonderful achievement. Hopefully we can beat Madrid in the cup final!
@ Martin — Agreed! Was thinking I had already had the league won but they just wont drop points! We have a fairly tricky run out also, so the league is not over yet!

Another awesome season Ana, i believe the whole of La Liga teams is wishing that you leave Real Union and gave them a chance on the title shot.

@ ravenie — Thanks! It took me many years to build the foundation for my team but am finally getting the rewards in terms of trophies!
@ dami — Thanks, I agree that la liga is getting pretty easy to win but Real Madrid are pretty close so nothing has been decided yet!
@ Lye — Ha! Yeah, I am sure but I set myself the target of 20 years in charge then I may move on. Havent decided yet!
@ Kevin — Yeah! My squad is so reliable and every player plays his part. If we can keep injury free we can possibly win everything again!
