Real Union — 2025/26 Part 1

Hi everyone!

So I will be going away on the 22nd of this month and wont be back until the 6th of November so I had to really rush through my last season so their will be only two posts this being the first.

I will post the second part when I can and I should have it all done before I go. I will probably buy the game the week after I return so will start posting my new story around then.

The Spanish Super Cup

So are 5 years of winning this trophy has ended after 2 really dissapointing games against a good Barcelona side. The away game we didnt perform and we should have been beaten by a few more, the home game we were better but still should have been beaten. David scored a late goal to give some hope.

European Super Cup

Well an extremely one sided game helped by our opponents lack of discipline we took an early lead when Peter Lowe broke through to slot the ball past the keeper then a red card for a bad tackle changed the game. Santos missed a penalty but it didnt matter David struck a hat-trick before half time.

Zhandanovich curled in a brilliant freekick whilst substitute Lars Weber headed in from a Lowe cross. We created so many chances that the score could have been double what it was.

Club World Championship Final

Well I expected a more easier game but we made hard work of it, a sloppy opener gave Wilson a free header from a corner and he stunned my team. David fired in a fantastic equaliser then we reversed the same play they did on us, Lowe playing the corner in and Mazza rising unmarked to give us the win.

Penalties hate me!! David of all people firing wide after Weber was fouled, thankfully we held on to the win.

La Liga Results And Table

So a really good start beging unbeaten and are back to our free scoring ways, David opened up with back to back hatricks taking him clear as the best goal scorer in Real Union history passing Kramaric 223 goals. If I had more time to play I think he would easily pass 300 which would be quite amazing, if not a little far fetched. But it is a game I guess!

As you can see the evergreen Castaignos is still going stong! Scoring a couple of goals whilst Julio Cesar continues to enjoy playing alongside the excellent David.

Again we are right on course to defend our la liga title, 6 clear of my in game rivals Atletico and we have the best defence in the league!

The Champions League

Well a good milestone in the fact that I have never failed to qualify from the group stage of the champions league! My record continued as we sailed through only an away defeat in Holland to Ajax cost me a 100% winning record.

The Spanish Cup

Well I managed to just about save a shock after being 3-0 down to Castellon with a young side, I made three changes introducing Atuxta, Lowe and Cesar after half time and the gamble worked as my Brazilian struck a fantastic hat-trick to spare our blushes!

My arch enemies next! A side that has beaten me more than any other side in Spain so am expecting two tough games.

Player Ratings

So David and Cesar continue to light up my season with 48 goals between them already Zhandanovich has been injured already this season so hasnt played as many games as I would have liked but Marcao my young brazilian has been in great form and may have played his way into my Brazil world cup side!

Velasco has now played over 500 league games which is fantastic he was 16 when I first joined he is now 33! This side would have needed some replacing as its now showing its age but am more than please with how things have gone so far.
