Hi all!
Sorry for not posting in a while, just that my boyfriend has finally returned home after almost 3 months away and I have been spending most of my time with him! So havnt had too much time to play.
However I am into January on my game so I will now show how things have gone!
The Spanish Super Cup
So things began with a two legged cup final with the winner of the Spanish cup last year Barcelona. We have a really good record against them in finals and was hoping to add another trophy to my collection!
A solid draw at the Nou Camp then a fantastic home win as we won 3-1. Lopez Fernandez was the star away whilst David won man of the match in the home game to give us our first piece of silverware this year!
La Liga Table And Results
So were remain unbeaten but have just started to struggle to score goals! Three draws against Sevilla, Zaragoza and Atletico followed a good win at second placed Real Madrid.
All in all am very pleased with how things are going and even though we are not running away with the league like last year, we are on course to retain our la liga title.
So a 7 point lead over Real Madrid who seem to be our main rivals this year. We have defended so well (Which is rare for me to say!) but only 8 goals have been put past us! We have scored 40 times and remain top goal getters in the league.
Am confident that we can retain our title but have also set myself the goal of trying to go unbeaten through a season! Will be tough but hopefully my side can do it!
The Champions League And Spanish Cup
We were given a fairly tricky group with both Juventus and Saint Etienne a good French team. We began with a soild 1-1 draw in Italy before beating both Zenit and St Etienne comfortably. We rounded things of by beating both Juve and Zenit to finish top of our group.
We meet Udinese another good Italian side but am fairly confident we can beat them over two legs and continue my long wait for the champions league.
The Spanish cup is still in the early stages but we will meet Las Palmas after beating Lorca 8-1 in total.
Player Ratings
So new club captain Castaignos continues to shine as our best performer so far followed by Luis Lopez Fernandez on an equal score. Weber has looked good in the handful of games I have played him in and Mazza is our new defensive leader!
Injuries have hit Aizpurua and Kramaric but they have recovered so should hopefully play a lot more games. David continues to be a real top finisher with 14 goals in 24 games.
And thats that!
I am sorry for delaying so long but with my boyfriend back now its hard to find time to play. I will continue with my story, but my posts will just be longer (time-wise) than the few day I usually post in.
My aim is still the champions league but we could also win all 4 trophies this year, which would be a first at the club! We are also on track to go unbeaten through the league again a feat that has never been done!
So we still have lots to play for, so I hope you keep following!

Ana, what a great start! Eventhough you side seems to heve been struggling for goals of late, I believe you can still win the title.

Nice to see you back posting again and you are doing great as usual even though the goals have dried up lately? Still, overall positive stuff and I really hope you finally get that Champions League trophy this season.

@ Sears — Thanks! Not sure why we are so poor infront of goal recently as we are creating alot of chances. Hopefully we can improve a little!

Very Nice carrier, ate your level of the game, Champions League and finish the League with no defeats it´s a great goal for the season.
I´m Portuguese and a Barça fan to, i am a Sporting CP Fan and like Barça, the «Cantera» where we get most of our Talent. Futre, Figo, Simão Sabrosa, Quaresma, Cristano Ronaldo, Nani, Moutinho and Veloso, wher all born to footBall in ouur Youth Acadmy.

Its always good to see teams like Barcelona and Sporting promoting acadamy players into the first team, I see that Sporting’s youth system is very good!

Any new tips on building a smart team????I am currently on season 2024 and the game is starting to piss me off,i have got a team that only people in dreamworld could dream about,there are players in my team who you will have never heard about so it would be pointless telling you who they are,any help on getting my tactics sorted out and how to score loads of goals would be appreciated

@ Aguila — Thank you! Am really enjoying this game so am just going to keep on playing!
@ Andy — Well my formation is a 4-3-3 type formation. I use wingbacks to help the attack and my two central midfielders to also attack. I have one defensive midfield player, with two strikers and an attacking midfielder also.
I copied Barca in terms of getting as many players forward but not getting over run at the back. It scores plenty of goals, especially if you have world class strikers, and I have tweaked the defence a little to help me conceed less.
Its difficult to give advice on a team I havnt seen but if you would like to try my formation than I would be more than happy to email it you.

Me and technology dont get on,im not to sure how you download stuff and how to load them into your game,what i will do is get a list of all my players so you know who to go for in the future.
On a serious note i played 20 games last night and i havent conceeded a goal in the league,my keeper has only conceeded 2 goals in 21 games,which for me is pretty good,ive just put all my defence on defend and my 2 wingers on to defend,the rest is what you said,i seem to win every game 2 nil for some reason apart from the crappy teams in the european cup who get panned 5 or 6 nil
Would you like me to send you the details through for when your team gets into 2025 like mine?oh and the stadium which is being built for me has also been delayed twice,lol
