The list below is what I need to win and what I have already won so far;
The Copa America
The Oceania Nations Cup
The Caribbean Championships*
The Gold Cup – 2017 – Mexico
The World Cup – 2014 England
The Confederations Cup – 2013 England
The Olympics*
The African Nations – 2017 – Cameroon
The Asian Cup
The European Championships – 2012 England
The Four Associations Tournament
As you can see there is two cups with a * on the end, they are in place because they aren’t a cup I have to win to complete it. If I get the chance I shall go for it but I will not be searching for the job.
So as you know I left Mexico in the middle of a World Cup in 2018 to join the giants of football and that’s Brazil! They have some outstanding talent in the Brazilian first team and have some great players who just don’t cut it in the first team but would in most countries which is a shame as they can’t show the world what they can do with a ball in their feet.
As soon as I took over I looked at the fixture list before I even looked at my squad and I only had one friendly before the end of the year but I changed that by arranging some friendlies with my old teams I have managed in the past such as England, Cameroon and Mexico. It came to me as I was looking to see who I wanted to play and could maybe push Brazil and beat them and I came up with these. To my luck Spain wanted a friendly with us and I couldn’t turn it down based on the statue of the national team and the players within. Having leaving the World Cup with shame like Brazil I think they wanted to revive it with a good win over Brazil but you’ll find out who done the business later on in the post. First up was the friendly I mention earlier that had already been arranged and that was against Slovenia a team who stood no chance with the likes of Pato (Bought by Barcelona for £89 million!) Yes you are reading that right £89 million pounds outstanding!!!
Anyway this post will be all friendlies leading up to the Copa America, this cup is on my list to win and that will only give me 3 more cups to win! This cup will be extremely close I can tell with Argentina flying high in the international stage at the moment they could be the favourites to lift the trophy at the end of the tournament and I can understand why! Although I wouldn’t put Brazil down with a new manager, a new tactic and some new and young players being introduced into the squad they could break Argentina’s rhythm.
First up for Brazil is Slovenia, they are currently ranked 46th in the World rankings and this should be an easy match for the boys in yellow! Although it is only a friendly I will be calling up my best squad to my knowledge reason why is because I want to get a good feel of Brazil and what they are capable of so I can learn to adjust for the Copa America.
I’ll give you the squad line up for my first match in charge as Brazil;
So according to a well known source «WorldSoccer.Com»
They printed «I fancy Brazil to win this one. Having looked at the line-ups, Brazil seem to have more about them than Slovenia and I expect this quality to show during the match.»

Goal glut for Brazil in Friendly demolition
Slovenia 0 – 4 Brazil (Friendly)
Brazil turned their possession into goals with a 4-0 win over Slovenia. The highlight of the game was undoubtedly a superb hat-trick from Brazil’s Marquinhos.
Striker Marquinhos got Brazil off to a flyer by scoring a finish tucked away with consummate ease after just one minute. Striker Pato doubled Brazil’s lead with a good header from just inside the six-yard box on 37 minutes.
Marquinhos added his 2nd goal of the game with a well struck effort on 52 minutes. It was a superb solo effort and Marquinhos looked delighted. There were no prizes for guessing who completed the rout on 80 minutes as that man Marquinhos popped up again with a placed shot.

Next up for Brazil was 2018 World Cup finalists Mexico, yes the team I left not so many months ago I would really like to get a win over my last job as it will prove I’ve done the right thing by moving on to a bigger and better country (With no disrespect to Mexico I do like them a lot).
Here I give you my line-up for reunion with Mexico;
So according to a well known source » The Brazilian Football Review.»
They have said «I think this is a difficult one to call and it will definitely be close but I reckon Brazil have what it takes to beat Mexico today.»

Confident performance from Brazil
Brazil 3 – 0 Mexico (Friendly)
An efficient performance by Brazil’s players saw them confidently overcome a lacklustre Mexico 3 – 0 at Arena Manaus.
Striker Pato got Brazil off to a flyer by scoring a deftly executed finish on 8 minutes. Midfielder playmaker Hulk doubled Brazil’s lead with a close range header on 78 minutes.
Striker Marquinhos completed the rout with a deftly executed finish on 89 minutes.

In to my third game with Brazil we flew to Balaidos, Vigo which is in Spain. The Spanish needed a win here today to revive their comeback from the World Cup after an embarrassing group stage knock out. With Spain ranked 27th in the World I must say that is the lowest I have ever seen them! (Ana I may if I get the chance try to revive Spain just for you!).
Here I give you my team line up for the match against Spain;
According to a well known source «WorldSoccer.Com»
They have published «This game has a draw written all over it. I just can’t separate these two sides.

Brazil take their chances
Spain 2 – 4 Brazil (Friendly)
Spain succumbed to a 4 – 2 loss in this evening’s friendly clash at Balaidos. A brace from Possebon helped Brazil to victory.
Things did not get off to a good start for Spain as Brazil’s Possebon scored from the spot after Sergio Ramos had given away a penalty. Striker Marquinhos doubled Brazil’s lead with a placed shot on 5 minutes.
It was a superb solo effort and Marquinhos looked delighted. Neymar scored with a fierce shot in the 34th minute to extend the lead futher.
Striker Borja Baston pulled one back for Spain after 63 minutes with a well struck effort. An error from Spain’s Raul Albiol allowed Possebon to score a poorly struck effort. Borja Baston reduced Spain’s deficit on 80 minutes with a thumping header but it was merely consolation.

Next up on my list was the team I managed from the start of the game, England and also my home nation so I have a good connection with this team and the players who play in the team. Stuart Peace I have some credit for getting to the Semi finals of the 2018 World Cup losing by a narrow 1-0 to eventual winners Argentina, also winning the Confederations Cup like I done so he’s in my good books.
Here I give you my team line-ups;
So according to a well known source «The Brazilian Football Messenger»
They said «Brazil and England are two evenly-matched teams and I think a draw looks the most result.»

Brazil in control as England are brushed aside
Brazil 1 – 0 England (Friendly)
Brazil battled to a deserved 1 – 0 victory over England on a fine spring evening in their Friendly game at Mineirao.
Striker Marquinhos gave Brazil the lead with a fluke goal in the 13th minute. Striker Pato’s red card for a vicious foul on 31st minutes put Brazil’s position under question.
Both teams had a number of attempts at goal, which promised much, but the quality of finishing was poor throughout.

Moving onto my last match before the Copa America it was against Cameroon a team I grew found with when I was managing them a couple of years back. One name comes to mind Vincent Aboubakar he was the star for Cameroon when I was there and I hope in a way he is still doing what he done for me!
Here I give you my final team line-up before the Copa America;
So according to a well known source «The Brazilian Football Messenger»
They said «I think Brazil have enough to secure a win against Cameroon»

Brazil win against Cameroon
Brazil 1 – 0 Cameroon (Friendly)
Brazil produced a good display this afternoon to see of the challenge of Cameroon at Rei Pele.
Brazil finally took the lead when striker Pato scored a real poacher’s effort on 56 minutes.
Brazil were carved open a number of times but despite the ability of their opponents to create chances, they struggled to put them away.
Here are tonight’s highlights from the Friendly between Brazil and Cameroon, Available in stunning HD (1080P);
Right this is the last part of the post and it will show you my group for the Copa America;
It’s not to hard but then again it won’t be a walk through for Brazil wit the likes of Uruguay in the group and Peru who could cause a little harm I do think Brazil should make it into the next round with ease.

Well done mate, some brilliant results and an excellent start. You should expect qualification and the Copa America trophy IMO. The main challenge is probably Uruguay and Argentina although you look the strongest.
Wow, crazy money flying from the Barcelona camp!

Some nice results in the friendlies leading to the Copa, just keep the momentum on and you should do fine, unlike Brazil and Argentina in real life right now…………..

Good results in the build up to the Copa Jon, you have to be favourites along with Argentina, especially as you beat some good teams in those friendlies. Good luck!
