Jon’s — Ultimate National Challenge — After the groups!

The list below is what I need to win and what I have already won so far;

The Copa America

The Oceania Nations Cup

The Caribbean Championships*

The Gold Cup

The World Cup – 2014 England

The Confederations Cup – 2013 England

The Olympics*

The African Nations

The Asian Cup

The European Championships – 2012 England

The Four Associations Tournament

As you can see there is two cups with a * on the end, they are in place because they aren’t a cup I have to win to complete it. If I get the chance I shall go for it but I will not be searching for the job.

So guys, we advanced into the quarter finals of the African Cup of Nations and we was drawn up against Senegal who are currently ranked 35th in the world and this is always a good sign before a match;

So we are favourites to advance into the semi finals which is a great sign for me and my boys, let’s jump straight into the game.

Here is the first eleven to face Senegal in the Quarter finals;

According to a well known source «The Senegalese Football Messenger»

They said «This one isn’t an easy game to call but I predict Cameroon to come out on top in what will undoubtedly be a tight affair.

So prior to the match I said to my boys Do this for the fans, Show them why you deserve a spot in the first eleven.

First half —

Half time —

Senegal 0 — 0 Cameroon

Boys, up your game show you deserve to be playing do it for your fans!

Second half

60th minute — GOAL — Aboubakar Oumarou

90th minute — GOAL — Baba

Full time

Senegal 1 — 1 Cameroon

Boys all you need is one goal and your into the semis come on!

Extra time —

92nd minute — GOAL — Eric Matoukou

95th minute — GOAL — Stephane Mbia

118th minute — GOAL — Titi

Full time

Senegal 1 — 4 Cameroon

Well done boys, you showed them you mean business! Keep it up

Match report —

An efficient performance from Cameroon saw them run out 4 — 1 (Won after extra time) winners over Senegal at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Cameroon finally took the lead when winger Aboubakar Oumarou scored a close range header on 60 minutes. Striker Baba then equalised for Senegal in the 90th minute with a finish executed with aplomb.

Better lane than never for Senegal and the fans were clearly delighted with Baba’s impact. Experienced centre back Eric Matoukou then put the way the away side in front after 92 minutes with a shot from eighteen yards out.

Mbia scored with a shot from the edge of the area in the 95th minute to extend the lead further. Nomadic striker Titi completed the rout with a curled effort from eighteen yards on 118 minutes.

So guys as you can see we’ve managed to get into the semi finals of the African Cup of nations! But who against well the holders of the cup in fact, Ivory Coast are the holders of the Cup and we have been drawn against them is the the end for Cameroon?  Well let’s see;

They said «It will be a close encounter today but I think Ivory Coast will come out victorious.»

Prior to the match I said to the boys, you’ve done me proud and your country get to the final for the fans!

First half —

10th minute — GOAL — Leoanrd Kweuke

38th minute — GOAL — Aboubakar Oumarou

Half time

Cameroon 2 — 0 Ivory Coast

Boys this what I wanted, you want it more than them don’t screw up now.

Second half —

52nd minute — GOAL — Titi

Full time —

Cameroon 3 — 0 Ivory Coast

Congratulations boys, You’ve done the impossible in some of the papers across the world well done!!

Match report —

Cameroon 3 — 0 Ivory Coast (African Nations Semi Final)

Ivory Coast succumbed to a 3 — 0 loss in the afternoon’s African Cup of Nations Semi Final clash at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Striker Leonard Kweuke got Cameroon off to a flyer by scoring a tidy finish on 10 minutes. Winger Aboubakar Oumarou doubled Cameroon’s lead with a close range finish which was timed impeccably on 38 minutes.

Nomadic striker Titi completed the rout with a deftly executed finish from eighteen yards on 52 minutes.
