Help me pick some leagues!

Hey all, Stromson here, and I think it’s high time for a good ‘ol fashioned Journeyman story! I’ll be running this story concurrently with my Helios Kharkiv one, and while updates will be slow until after my wedding (two weeks from now), I shouldn’t have any trouble keeping up with both after that point. I’ll also be reporting on this story a bit differently, primarily using short, picture friendly updates (something you’ve seen me trending toward as it was).

Now for where you come on: I’d like some help picking leagues! A few things to bear in mind whilst making suggestions:

1) I’ll be starting unemployed with a Sunday League Rep

2) I’d like to cap the player total at around 50,000 (so it doesn’t take a week for each turn to process)

3) I’m not specifically going for a pentagon or anything of that nature, but I will be managing how I would imagine a real life manager would (I.E. taking the highest paying jobs).

You could try having one league in each continent? Maybe raise your reputation and aim to win a league in each and possibly continental trophies?

Well, if you think you can keep two stories going then I guess you dramatically underestimate marriage :P

The Dutch league is great to get a good name, some good results with small Dutch clubs and you can go to the Dutch top and then to the absolute top!

I’m with Johnny…wait till the shackles are firmly in place mate and it’ll all change lol :) Only kidding buddy, I think the Journeyman story is a nice idea. Leagues wise you should load the usual top countries but also add Croatia, Ukraine, Russia and Romania. IMO anyway. Good luck for the big day by the way,

South Africa (top league only)

Spain

I think you can get 50,000 with that if you sort the leagues correctly and that should be good for the progression as well!

P.S. DO NOT load Malaysia, it is inescapable! :D

These are my picks, just be sure to load until the lowest league as your rep is only sunday league (change the defaults for some leagues like Portugal)

Pick a region:

A)All UK leagues

B)All south american leagues

C)All Scandinavian leagues

Or a country with many divisions like England or Sweden and work your way to win the Premiership

I am playing with Sibo’s suggestion. 77,000 players are in that database if you select those countries. I have started out unemployed. I have applied for every job and am currently managing Solihull Motors just because they were found in 2007 :)
