Hello dear friends, I have some important news to share with you today! I have been working on some ideas to improve your experience on your website and after a few weeks of work and testing I am proud to introduce three new «baby-sites»! I hope that you will like these additions but since they still are at an early stage I would appreciate any suggestions on how to improve them with new features. Let’s see what all this is about.

I thought about making a place where you could find all the latest posts and news around the FM scene and this is what came out of it. I have included all my favorite FM fan sites but the door is open to any other websites that would want to be listed there, as long as they are about football or Football Manager and as long as they are good enough. If you want to submit a website then you should read more about the process here.

With the integration of YouTube in Football Manager 2011 video has become an important part of our storytelling. I wanted to take this a little bit further so I made this website to include the best Football Manager 2011 videos but also some real football videos for you to enjoy. I will try to add one or two new videos every day but you can also submit your videos to be included there. I hope that you like the videos that I have added so far :)

Let me describe this in just a few words: it’s a facebook-like website only for us! It should be a great opportunity to communicate more and share our passion for Football Manager and football in general. The website includes a chat module, image and video sharing, and it could become a place where we can comment on important football matches and get to know more about each other. It takes under a minute to register, then you can add an avatar and start talking! I hope to see many of you there soon ;)

The forum is not brand new, it’s been online for a month or so. There already are some very interesting stories, topics and discussions, I hope that more of you will join the fun there!
That’s all I could do for now but you know that my head is always full of new ideas, most of them bad ones. :) I hope that you like the new baby-sites and I’m looking forward to hearing your opinions and suggestions via comments or emails. Great idea Johnny, I’m sure we’ll all have a great time on the new websites. I just have one question: I already have an account on this site, but I can’t log on to the social network. Do I have to create a new account? Cheers :)

Yes, you will have to create a new account there. I could have copied all the registered users from here to the new website but that wouldn’t have been fair, some of them might not want to have accounts on the social network.

Great work Johnny, lovin’ the new sites. This blog is just phenomenal and by far the best available. You’ve been fantastic to the FM community which has grown enormously over the past year or so and it’s largely down to your superb work.

hi mate ive signed my youtube account onto youtube (XTRxRaPiiDzZ) my xbox live gmaertag like 2 years ago :S, anyways how do i upload goals by my players onto it then i can enter them into the competuion for goal of mounth

You have to add the YouTube account details in FM 2011 and then upload the video from the respective match report. You can upload a single goal or all the goals in a match.

Fantastic expansion im loving where this sight is going. Your hard work has certainly paid off Johnny. sorry, but i have a quick question: fm11 is downloaded on steam but when i click to load it does not work. fm 10 works fine so it’s probably not my steam that is the problem. any suggestions would be much appriciated, thanks

The problem could be related to DirectX, FM 2011 requires the latest DirectX package. It should be available somewhere in Steam but I can’t remember exactly where.

The «facebook idea» is very good, right now I´m in Vietnam where I can´t access to FB but I think Football Manager Story will not have this problem:)
