Hello friends, this is a news flash post about FM 2013. We were expecting an announcement regarding the Football Manager 2013 release date by the end of August but that announcement has been postponed for mid September.
Studio director Miles Jacobson was the one who made the announcement on Twitter a few minutes ago:

There won’t be any official transfer updates or any other updates as far as I know.

They had loads of such lists to consider, all that I know is that they are grateful for the ideas but they can not say which features will be included and which won’t. I guess we’ll find out in a few weeks/months.

It will surely be a better game than FM 2012, no doubt about that. But you have to understand that they can’t implement a huge number of new features each year. Miles once said that they have features planned for FM 2015, things that they want to get into the game but can’t do it just like that, there’s serious work involved.

Well, this doesn’t necessarily mean that they are postponing the release date. They are just delaying the announcement, and that’s because Miles has some personal problems and probably can’t handle the promotional stuff that he usually does when announcing the new game.

Hey Johnny, I saw some Tweets from Miles mentioning his visits to the hospital so I do hope wish him and his family all the best. As he said the other day, personal life comes first…its a recurring theme with this game but so true.

Usually they do make some of the new features public when announcing the release date, that’s what they did when they announced the previous versions of the game.
