FM 2013 Match Engine Video

Hello friends, it’s time to give you a bit more info about the improved match engine in Football Manager 2013! Miles Jacobson has just revealed a few of the new things that you should expect in the FM 2013 match engine and, in my view, they sound and look quite impressive.

Here’s a quick list of the most important changes and improvements:

New physics engine, which allows more realistic ball trajectories. The ball is now affected by pitch conditions and weather.
Player bodies are more realistic.
AI (Artificial Intelligence) more realistic.
New cameras and the possibility to zoom in and out.
Increased stadium details.

That looks great Johnny, they have made the whole match engine experience more realistic. Can’t wait to get my hands on it.

Looks great, now just can’t wait till the game is released! However we do have FM12 to keep us going u suppose!

Very interesting the new physics engine. However I really hope the passing doesn’t become to «artificial» but judging by that video it looks like SI have got it spot on.

  No, not yet. The official announcement says «before Christmas». Probably late October I’d say, but we’ll have to wait and see.
