February Goal Of The Month Winner

Hello folks, I’m happy to announce that the February Goal of the Month competition is now over and that we have a more than worthy winner! Eight beautiful goals entered the competition and 135 people voted for their favorites. And the winner is… drum roll… Smithy and the fabulous goal scored by Djebi-Zadi! The goal received 31% of the total votes, let’s watch this beauty one more time!

So, congratulations to Smithy for winning a copy of Football Fables, a book that I hope he will enjoy. I’d also like to thank all the people who entered the contest and all of those who were kind enough to cast their votes, I really appreciate your involvement. Smithy is kindly asked to email me his postal address so that I will be able to make the necessary arrangements for the book to be sent out to him as soon as possible. I would also like to ask all of you to kick of the March Goal Of the Month competition by submitting your goals here, more news about the prize will come during the next few days ;)

Hi Johnny,

This is my entry. I feel the video is not doing Hitchcock justice as he start bringing the ball from our own half. The video is showing the last 20-30 yards.
