That’s right, there’s a brand new patch available for download, SI have just released it. Those of you who have installed and registered the game through Steam do not need to download and install the patch, your game will be updated automatically.
All the others have to download the patch for their version of the game, you can find a full list of the download mirrors by clicking on the image below:
Here are some of the bugs that are fixed by this new patch:
- Cannot approach to sign players based in England with less than 6 months left on their contract as a foreign club’s manager
- New season in Greece not being scheduled.
- The Top Division relegation wage decrease clauses are not being triggered at the end of a season after being relegated from the English Premier Division.
- Danish users are complaining that their filters seem to screw up after a brief period of playing time, making the B-teams disappear.
- Crash when managing a B Team and selecting to ‘Change Squad Status’ through Backroom Advice
- Game becomes unresponsive when attempting to arrange international friendly in future years
- Set piece instructions for delivery type not saved when using the set piece creator.
- B teams not showing any players.
- Relegation Playoff makes game think all teams should be relegated.
- Coaches incorrectly gain other categories when a coach leaves.
- Selecting [Interact with Board] to buy a player causes you to lose your transfer budget if another team buys the player.
- FM11 Dark Skin — Board restrictions text cannot be seen on the Contract Offer screen.
- Competitions ranking panel is missing reputation column.
- Yellow card suspension rule is incorrect in Spain.
- Random crash when playing the full match engine.
- French players with international bans are unable to play friendlies for their club.
- Tim Cahill has jumping 14 in the DB, but it shows up as 11 in game.
- Players disappear from set piece assignments
- Crash in when pre-match news item about record attendance.
- Team-based widgets change when going from a home game to away game or vice versa
- Blue Square North/South Playoffs not being scheduled at the end of the first season.
- Squad Registration Action Button taking the User to the Squad screen.
I’d say that you have to download this one as it fixes most bugs known until now. Have fun!

After I have installed version 11.1.1 and try to start a new game, I cannot chose 11.1.1, only 11.1.0. Why is that?

Patch 11.1.1 does not make any changes to the database, that’s why.

It depends on which version of the game you have, DVD or digital download.

The patch is an executable file, so just double-click on it and it should guide you through.

my game has crashed twice in the last 2days and in both instances it happen when i clicked match and was going to the tv match view.i think it might be happening due to long hours of use because when it crashed i had been playing the game for atleast 3 to 4 hrs straight.will this patch fix this problem?i already read which bugs it fixes but just wanted to get this answer from you.

I don’t know Sergio, my game never crashed until now and I’ve been playing quite heavily on a few occasions. That might be related to your computer rather than to a bug in the game. However, installing the patch might improve the issue but I can’t guarantee that.

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me.
I’m running the dvd version (original disc) and getting fed up with the bugs so downloaded the patch 11.1.1 but I don’t know how to install it.
I notice you said above that its an executable file so just double click, but I’ve got it as an EXE.ATTACHMENT file and it asks me what program to use to open it (this is the problem).
Does anyone know what I need to do to get the patch file to load/install.

If you have a PC the file should be fm2011v11.1.1_pc_dit_patch, it’s an executable file and after downloading it you just have to go to the folder where it was downloaded and just double click on the file.
