I know you have downloaded the FM 2013 facepack yesterday, admit it! The game looks nicer with those, doesn’t it? FM 2013 can be even better looking if you also add logos to it, and that’s what we will be doing today. Sortitoutsi.net is the source once again, as they provide probably the best graphics for Football Manager for quite a few years now. The FM 2013 logos megapack has over 120,000 pictures included, from club and competition logos to national flags.
Here’s how some of those FM 2013 logos look like in the game:

Just click the download image below to download the FM 2013 logos megapack. (Please note: clicking the download image will take you to the Sortitoutsi.net website).
How to install logos pack in FM 2013
1. After downloading you will have a “.zip” file. Extract this file to the following folder: Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2013 > graphics”. If the “graphics” folder doesn’t exist you can simply create it yourself.
Please note: You can also extract the zip file to a location of your choice and then copy just the “metallic_logos” folder inside the “graphics” folder mentioned above. This is the way I personally recommend. Also, if you already have the metallic logos mega pack for FM 2012, then you just have to move the “metallic_logos” folder from your FM 2012 graphics folder to the FM 2013 folder (as described above), there are no changes as far as I know.
2. Start Football Manager 2013 and go to “Preferences” > “Interface”. Make sure that you tick the check box called “Reload Skin when confirming changes in preferences”. Click “Confirm”. Alternatively, you can click “Reload Skin” in the bottom right hand side corner of the “Preferences” page.
3. A box will pop up saying “loading image data for the new skin”. Once this is completed the logos should be working within the game.

Yer I have got 2 x folders, 1 is called ‘new folder’ and the 2nd is ‘pictures’ and i also have a word document entitled ‘credits’ … very confused! lol thanks for the help!

‘new folder’ has nothing inside it and inside ‘pictures’ there is another 3 folders ‘flags’ ‘logos’ and ‘trophies’ .. Inside the ‘flags’ folder there are another 3 folders ‘large’ ‘medium’ and ‘small’ and inside the ‘logos’ folder there is ‘metallic logos’ and ‘metallic logos FM12’.

Please delete the «new folder» and then try moving the «logos» folder in the «graphics» folder. Then start your game and reload the skin. Hopefully that works.

I have it from last year, but I don’t have any «metalic_logos» folder. Is there a configuration I can use that makes use of a subfolder so I can separate this from other packs?

I’ve managed to get the faces to show up but can’t get the logos to work. In my graphics folder there are the faces and then another folder called logos with all the separate sub-folders in it. Can you recommend anything else?

Try de-selecting “Use caching to decrease page loading times” in Preferences. You might also want to check the number of files in the logos folder, you should have over 100K files. If you have less then the file might not have downloaded correctly.

What do you have in the «logos» folder then? From what I understand you have the normal folder structure there and the logos should show in the game. But if you are missing the config files in those folder then it won’t work and you will have to try downloading again.

For updates and such, where do these get placed?
for example, would the update (that includes the Cardiff bade etc.) go within the graphic folder? or within the graphics folder and further on into the folder which contains flags, logos and trophies?

Hi I have made a graphics folder, I have made sub folders of ‘kts’ ‘logos’ and ‘faces’ I have ticked reload skin and unticked the cache. However, only the kits have worked and are appearing in the game. I’m very confused as this normally works! What do I do?? Thanks for your help

Yeah I have. I downloaded them last night. I downloaded the 13 player faces packs and the 7 logos packs. Put them into folders and it still won’t work. Really confused!

Check the folder structure again. For instance, in the «faces» folder, the best setup is to have the image files and config file in that folder, and not in another sub-folder.

I am going to put all the faces into one folder, I have not yet seen a config file although after I have moved them into one folder I will be able to tell if there is a config folder. I will let you know soon. Thanks for your help

I have the following folder structure for the logos: Graphics>metallic_logos>logos + config file>club, comp, continent, nation folders. You should have something similar to that.

Hi,
I have downloaded the facepacks and metalic logo pack.
Brilliant…. however after extracting everything the Nations and Tournaments work, but the clubs dont. The folder is there so can you just confirm where to drag it to to get it to load up.
It current sits in Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2013\graphics\pictures\logos\Metallic Logos
In there is Clubs, Comps, Confeds, Default, Nations
Can you tell me if that’s right. It’s just strange as the folder is definitely full of all the badges yet it isn’t quite working at club level.

hello. I got kits and logos. kits work fine. in the logos, only the club badges change. competition names dont change but the logos do change.
the structure look like this:
C:\Users\dumbforce\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2013\graphics\pictures
under «pictures» i have «flags», «logos» and «trophies»
no «config» files to be seen…
any clue?
I followed the exact method I used for FM12 and everything worked fine on that game.

It’s almost the same thing, just another format of an archive file. Just extract it using 7-zip or other such programs.

Hello! I had installed the whole graphics pack (faces-logos-kits), and it was working fine but when i had to uninstall and re-install the game, it stopped working..I backed up the graphics folder and just coppied it after re-installing but it stopped working..I’ve done all the above steps..I’ve reloaded the skin, unchecked the «use cache»..But still nothing..Any thoughts?
