Hi everyone!
So here is the halfway point in my season well just slightly over as I will include the January transfers as well, but I will post Januaries results in my next update to keep everything in a nice order!!
So lets have a look at the season so far :

August & September Results
So the month began really well as my new signing Ibrahimovic took only two minutes to open his Coruxo tally with a fine freekick, Henrique latched onto two passes from him aswell so the perfect start for my ageing frontman. An own goal was good enough to seal a win over Getafe then an away defeat at Tenerife.
That followed a boring but decent point against Villarreal and then a defeat away at Real Madrid which was expected!
October Results
October was the month for the gamble that was Ibrahimovic, a stunning 20 yard strike was enough to steal a point against Barcelona to haunt his former club. He then struck twice against Sevilla and his strike partner Henrique also scored twice as we demolished them away from home.
Bad luck struk as we gave away two penalties at home to Sporting both of which should not have been given but Ibrah and Valiente scored in a narrow defeat.
November Results
November was up and down! It began really well as we beat Zaragoza 5-2 with their own goalkeeper scoring two own goals! Denilson, Galindo and the impressive Henrique completed a big win for my team. Another decent home point against Atletico then a shambles at Almeria ended in a four one defeat.
December Results
The amount of games caught up on Ibrahimovic so he was injured for the whole of December but his replacement wasnt too bad as Nenem struck twice against Bilbao to give us a comfortable home win. A narrow win next at Racing as Henrique struck four minutes from time to seal a fantastic away win, and another good home point against Espanyol completed a very good month for my team.
The League Table
So we are in eighth position which isnt too bad we are improving so am hopefull of finishing top 12. I dont think we will have enough to grab a top 8 spot but as long as we survive I will be more than happy with that! They say it takes three years to fully establish yourself in the higher league so from that we are right on course.
The January Transfers
So its probably easiest to post my January transfers now then I can just post the results next time round. I made a few signings including a record transfer for my club! I also signed one of most favourite players so was very happy with the window!!
Lets have a look at the new players and the players out :
Players Out
So I sold my pretty poor right back Medina to Coventry and I also sold Sunny who just wasnt good enough in la liga. I loaned out Alcacer, Galindo and Nenem but I must have cut that transfer out by mistake! Udinese offered a loan fee of one million and they will pay all his wages so I accepted! I also sold Zerbini a fantastic player for me, but he was unhappy.
Players In
Hernan Basualdo
My first signing off three was Basualdo from Argentina and I payed £775k. He was very highly rated by my scout so I brought him to Coruxo, he is a central midfield player who can also play as a defensive midfileder if need be.
Pedro!
Yay! Pedro! One of my favourite players at Barcelona so shame on them for simply releasing him on a free transfer. So I got him for nothing and he is now worth over £4 million he is a 28 but he has some great stats and I like him! I will create a Barca style formation to get the best out of him and he is so good looking too! :)
Emiliano Sena
So here is the record breaker as I payed a massive £7.5 million for him, he is 24 and a striker he was also at the same team as Basualdo but he has been loaned out to Spanish clubs and had a good spells at Villarreal and Zaragoza when he was on loan their. The price is big for a club like mine but am sure he will worth the money so have high hopes for him!
So thats it! Am very happy with how things are going so far and am very very happy with my new players! (especially Pedro!) and with them am hoping now we can finish top 10. I know I said earlier we may struggle to do that but with Sena and Pedro I believe we have two world class players.
Just to let you know I will posting an update to my other story before I post again on my Coruxo one so for those who havent read it so far you can click the link to catch up. It is fourteen season’s long so it may take a bit of reading but it has loads of pictures to help you out!

Pretty good Ana, your side are more than capable of holding their own this season, and I reckon it’ll get even better with Pedro and Sena, Pedro is massively underrated on FM though. Still, I’m sure he’ll do well for you, and I reckon you can finish in the top 8. Good luck!

Love it love it love it! Pedro and a regen that looks incredible for such a small side. Amazing transfer activity and for me, those signings could see you over achieve above your expectation of top 12…I personally think a top 8 finish isn’t totally beyond you with those signings. A good start to the season and you are working your magic again Ana, well done. This has the making of another Real Union story!

Sena looks like an excellent signing, I’d say 7.5M was a good price, even though he’s 24, once you start challenging for title places within the next couple of seasons, his value will probably increase a fair bit.

Sen a looks very good technically, he remind me of Kroos and 7.75 million is a decent price. You are doing very well at 8th place and with those new signings you can probably stay there

I agree I cant think of a situation in real life that they would ever release Pedro! That said Puyol is now the manager of Barca so maybe they had a fight or something!

In all honesty he was offered to me by his agent!! I usually scout Spain, Brazil, Argentina, and then what ever is recommended to me in the team meetings.
I guess I was just a bit lucky with Pedro but the reason he joined was he was looking forward to working with me!!

Always nice when you find gems like Pedro on a free.
Anyway great result against Sevilla, 4-0 drumming away from home is just what your lads needed. Strong position in the league aswell, just hope that your players can gel which will hopefully give you a base to push on and challenge for a place in Euorpe!

Sevilla were struggling at the time and had lost three in a row so their confidence was low and we took full advantage!
Europe might be a bit far but if my new players settle well then there is always a chance!

After those signings I think even 5th or 6th would not be impossible, Pedro has some nice stats, that 7.5 million signing also looks like a beast and the 775k player looks like he could develop into a great player!

Great job Ana, the team did well to end the year in 8th spot and with the new signings I think that you could climb even higher. That new striker is a great capture, he should bag quite a few goals and also create a few for his teammates. Pedro is a good piece of business as well, getting him for free is a real coup.

I think that you have a great position in the league and you are doing pretty well. Ibrahimovic is doing amazing as well. Pedro and Sena are really good signings, maybe you can challenge for Europe this season.

Coruxo is on the up! :D Great start to the season by the way, great point vs Barcelona. Paulo Henrique really seems to be shining this season. You may not think so, but I think you could get top 8!
Pedro is a great signing and he has at least 4 years left in him. Sena will be a legend for your club I’m sure, maybe like Castaignos was for Real Union ;-)

I loved Castaignos!! Shame he isnt quite as good on this version of FM! He was the first player I checked when I bought my game!!

I suggest you say something constructive or not at all! We don’t encourage bad language and certainly don’t appreciate such comments. Ana plays her games well past the ten year mark. She loses many finals on penalties and missed out on promotion a few seasons ago by a few points…if she went through all that without cheating then why would she make a new manager with a rich club just to sign someone!! I suggest you actually learn something about the author before making ridiculous claims.

Ok, there is an easy way of doing this you cant prove I am cheating but I can prove I am not. You said I have taken over a club well on the club’s landmarks that history is saved and you cant change it.
So tell me which team I have supposedly taken over to sell players and I will post the clubs history to prove that you are wrong.
I always play the game the right way without cheating, like Darren has said I have lost playoff finals when all I had to do was save before and keep reloading until I get the result I want, but I dont because where is the fun in that?
If you have bothered to read my Real Union story from last year you will know that I dont cheat as I lost four out of the six champions league finals I played in. Like I said if I was a cheater I would have just reloaded the game and got the win but I didnt as I play fair.
We are all grown ups so why cant you act like one? Start using the correct grammar and the correct letter casing and am sure people will start to listen to you. Otherwise you can come across as a bit of an idiot.
