Hi everyone!
So am bringing you my monthly update in my Coruxo story, as you have read we have began the season in terrific fashion, playing a really nice style of football. Here is the month as it happened
We began the month away at struggling Cacereno and dominated the game for large spells. The first half was pretty close and we failed to make headway as they sat back and absorbed the pressure. However on 62 minutes top scorer Carlos latched onto a mistake to fire us into the lead. Unlikely scorer Pacciardi next with a fine header put us two up before our new signing Germinale sealed a fine away win.
Next up was away at Celta B, who found themselves at the wrong end of the table. Despite dominating the game we made two errors and that would cost us the game, first Patino was red carded for a professional foul on 34 minutes meaning we had to play over an hour with 10 men. However we took a shock lead when Carlos fired home after a fantastic Germinale pass. However a mistake from Sanchez allowed Celta to level as we settled for a point in the end.
Next up was our best performance under me as we entertained Castilla at the O Vao, and what a performance we produced. We took the lead after 10 minutes when Manu broke from midfield to slot the ball past the keeper and 6 minutes later Carlos fired us into a two goal lead. Raul Sanchez was then red carded for the same offence as Patino in the previous game. But it made no difference to my team and Carlos put us 3 up on 47 minutes.
Second half and we continued to dominate Carlos completeing his hatrick on 50 minutes with another fine finish, Ruiz did pull a consolation back for Castilla but the outstanding Carlos had the last word when he fired his fouth of the match and seal a tremendous 5-1 win.
(Couldnt get the whole match as it wouldnt let me! So here is the highlight goal from the game)
Next up was Getafe B another good side in this league with one of the best players and we just couldnt stop him from almost making the difference. Pedro Mosquere struck two goals for the home side and looked to have sealed all three points, however a terrific late fight back saw Manu and and own goal steal a point from a game that looked lost!
The final game of the month was a home game against Conquense and this time is was us that had to deal with the late heartache. We began fantastic with Germinale firing home from a superb Manu pass on three minutes and we held that until half time. However we let our lead slip with Calvillo heading in from a fine move, but 4 minutes later and Carlos was fouled in the box he dusted himself down and fired home to regain the lead. But the lead was lost again on 88 minutes when we failed to deal with a cross and the unmarked Cristian stole a point despite Carlos cracking the bar in stoppage time.
So an unbeaten month so cant really complain but a stunning performance against Castilla was the real high, at the moment we look so solid just clumsy mistakes and a bit off ill discipline to iron out. But the way we play is a really good and very entertaining to watch.
So we remain six clear at the top we have a very good goal difference over the rest of the sides. Carlos has been amazing and we are confident of out scoring any one in the league, just sillly mistakes cost us in games which is quite infuriating but will do my best to try to remove them from our play.
So four games next month but we play both Badajoz and Pontevedra who are both currently in the top four.

I am so jealous of you and Johnny! I have been useless the past couple of years on FM but you are seemingly unstoppable! Keep up the good work — I will continue sulking lol

Dont be jealous!!
Its just both Johnny and I are used to managing in the lower divisions! I remember Johnny wrote a really good article about lower league management if you are struggling it might be worth a read!
Just remember to build a tactic around the players you have and dont be afraid to tinker around!!
If you want any advice etc, then please feel free to ask I will help the best I can but believe me I am no expert!
And please dont sulk!!, I will try to cheer you both up so here are some kisses for you two!!

Scoring has never been a problem with the way I setup, I love attacking football but am pleased that the defence is coping well so far. We are in great form at the moment and confidence in the team is very high.
Lets just hope it can continue!

Mistakes tend to be quite frequent at this level but as long as Carlos keeps firing them in like that I guess you will remain top of the table. Well done and good luck for the next months!

Yeah just annoying that we create all the play, create chance after chance then conceed after a shocking pass or someone caught on the ball!
Also we pick up a load of cards, so suspensions are also very frequent but I guess thats just part of the game.

Yeah he has been in great form and is key for my side, just hoping he can stay injury free and continue in the form he is in.
I agree he should be up there with the topscorers, not a bad find I think!! :)

Promotion is a little different in this league but I will explain in a post later on. Lets hope we can finish top of the league though!
