So on to my story, if you remember we had won promotion and were preparing for life in liga adelente, I had made some good signings and was confident of a decent season ahead but how well did we do? Well lets find out!
Septemeber Results
We began well enough with a three all draw against Murcia, however we were 3-1 so was a little dissapointed to throw the game away. Las palmas was a game we should have won but bad finishing cost us any chance, but we proved that against Ponferradina when we hit five goals our biggest win of the season! :)
Betis are a great side so to only lose 2-1 away wasnt too bad!
October Results
October started badly with two defeats in a row but well held firm to gain a point against Rayo. We beat Gimnastica in or final game with a 89th minute winner from Carlos!
November Results
Thankfully November was kinder to us with seven points taken in four games. A great game was eventually won when Saric came of the bench to nod in the winner in a cracker of a game away at Salamanca! We then went to Malaga and put in a brilliant performance to get a point, Perez with a freekick sealed a point we deserved.
We then beat Eibar in a comfortable home win Diaz from a corner gave us the lead and Carlos fired in a second to seal the win, Xerez beat us away but again was more than pleased with the performance.
December Results
So a pretty good December with two wins, we began by getting beaten at Gimnastic but bounced back well to beat Alcorcon with new signing Kaka! (No not the Real Madrid one! Will post him up later) heading in a corner and Zerbini slotting in a second we a good finish.
Berigaud sealed a winner against Albacete but we finished the month in defeat after Girona beat us.
January Results
So a very good month for my side as we were unbeaten (forget the Girona result it seems to have been carried forward!) We beat Alves 3-1 Zerbini the star, scoring twice with my centre back Diaz heading in a corner. Diaz again went hero as again he headed in a corner to get a fantastic point away at Hercules!
We then went away and beat Levante! With Carlos hitting a twenty yard strike into the top corner to give us a famous three points! We then beat Barcelona At at home and my favourite player on last years game Luc Castaignos decided to keep on scoring for me! But it was at the wrong end and sealed a fantastic end of the month!
The League Table
Well am pretty pleased with how my season has gone and we lie 9th and creeping up on the playoff’s! My side dont look out of place and we are turning into a very good side to watch!
My aim is to survive and am confident we can do that as we are looking up rather than down a good season so far!
Player Ratings
My back two have been brilliant in Diaz and new signing Kaka, a fantastic player btw! Carlos has surprised me in how many goals he has scored and created and Zerbini has been soild all season. Some players have been very dissapointing including Markel and I expected more when I signed him. Next up my new players signed in January.
January Sales!
Kaka
A fantastic defender who brings pace but also alot of quality alongside Diaz, the two have been brilliant. He was a free transfer and could be my signing on the game so far always playes well and so far has been a huge player for me!
Jesus Cabero
So we are not great at the back so decided to bring in a new goalkeeper and got Cabero on a freebie! Lots better than the man he will replace and Spanish too which is important for me as I like to have 5-6 Spaniards in my team!
Daniel Carvalho
So next up I took a gamble on on this player! Techinally he is brilliant and he is also very creative his physical stats are not brilliant but the ability he will bring from set pieces will be fantastic in both corners and free kicks. Good finisher too hopefully he can score a few goals too!

Not bad Ana, you had a solid first half of the season. The three new signings definitely add quality and strength to the team and I reckon you would be in with a chance to reach the play-offs, your favourite part of the season :) Good luck!

Agreed, I dont think I can win promotion but at least I am almost secured survival which was main aim.
Maybe next season with a couple of good signings!

you seem to be scoring a lot of late goals which is great. if i were i would have accepted 9th place come January and it seems like the only way is up so keep it going. Merry Christmas!
