Hi everyone!
Am pretty sure you have heard the news of the merge of sites, which is great I think! I typically missed it due to being away all weekend! So I will make up for it with the new post in my Coruxo season! Last season we really struggled and probably should have been relegated but due to a bit of form we survived to fight again this season!
So lets have a look at just what happened!

So the season began with news of a brand new stadium! We didnt win too many prizes for the name though which will just be Coruxo Stadium. Probably one of the worst names ever! I really hope they change it further down the line, but it will cost £17 million and have under soil heating and 12,250 seats. I dont know why they just didnt round it up to 12,000 or 13,000 seats but thats my board as wacky as ever! :)
So more work! This time with an upgrade to the training facilities with another million pound development I would have preferred investment in the youth side but I cant complain really!
Transfers Out
I pulled no punches selling off and releasing players who just were not good enough. It was cruel as players such as Niang and Pacciardi were the main reasons we were in la liga but we needed change after last year. I sold Garcia, Agirrexte, Theophile — Catherine, da Graca, Nikao and Ayala for good money. In the end we were well under our wage budget and had a really healthy bank balance.
I made several new signings and as usual I will intoduce them one by one so here they are :
Pichu Atienza
Atienza was bought for £1.4 million pounds and is a centre back, although he can also play in midfield if needed. He is alot better than the departed Ayala in my opinion and will start alongside Valiente.
Nenam
A big money signing as I parted with £3.6 million to lure Nenam from Brazil to Spain but I have a really talented striker, goals last season were easy to come by but I needed a better squad and Nenam has a big future I think.
Francisco Alcacer
Another promising Spainish talent I picked up for free, released by Barcelona. Another centre forward and another who has a bright future will hopefully provide some good cover this season.
Zlaten Ibrahimovic
So I went totally against what I usually do and signed and over 30 player, infact I signed someone who I really didnt like when he was at Barcelona. But this is just a game and despite his age he is still very talented but he will bring some experience, something we lacked last season. Its a gamble but it just might pay off! ;)
Samuel Galindo
So I bought him for a million pounds from Arsenal and he is an attacking midfield player. Another who should have a good future he is pretty well rounded and should provide some good cover this season.
Haris Vuckic
Another million pound signing this time from Manchester City my scouts seemed to really love him! He is predicted to be a real star for the future so I brought him to Coruxo with high hopes! Again he will be more of a squad player than a starter but pretty good for the money we paid.

As many of you may know I am currently writing two stories one here and one at Darrens old site which is now over here, but I am in my 15th season……
Now I could post the new update but many of you who havent been following may have no idea what is going on and reading 14 seasons may take a while. So I was thinking is there any point in keeping it going? I am really enjoying playing that game (and my Coruxo one also) but there isnt much point in posting a story in which most people wont have a clue whats going on.

Hey Ana! I’ll start with the end: I would suggest continuing the other story as well because, as far as I know, most of the readers are already familiar with it from Darren’s site. I know that I am and I can give you several other examples :) On to Coruxo, it’s great that you’ll have a modern stadium, that’s a good step towards a better future. I’m quite curious to see how Ibrahimovic will perform, he still has the skills apparently but he might be a bit slow. Anyway, the younger strikers might take charge if he doesn’t produce the goodies and I think you’ll be in for a successful season. Good luck!

Having read most of the comments I will continue both stories, I admit Ibrahimovic is a gamble but like I said I dont have anything to lose he was free so if he cant perform I will just release him!

Looks like you’ve got some good signings there. Hopefully you’ll get at least a mid table finish this season.

I say keep going with them both too Ana, it would be a shame to lose such a great career and you’ve put in so much work.
As for Coruxo, a great pre-season and a lot of money raised. Loving Ibrahimovic no matter what the age.

Definitely do both, they are two great stories! Ibra is a great signing, although a bit on the slow side he should still play well and bcome a key player. Your other signings are great, Nenam has a bright future either with your team or another team that buys him from you for a good profit :).
Good luck, it wasn’t easy door you last season but I think you should do better this season.

He is a bit slow but if I remember he was never that quick anyways!! Yeah Nenam is a talent and with Henrique we should hopefully score a few more goals this season!

I believe you should have no problem running both. Probably you can do a summary for those who don’t know for the other story.
A lot of transfer out and few signings in but i though you did well. They should equip you with better quality. Wish you have a great season ahead. Good luck.

Ana your board are pretty efficient with money, I could only 5.5 million spent for a new stadium and an upgrade to training facilities
Haris Vuckic is a very highly rated player, and even at 33 years old Zlatan still has what it takes to be a complete forward
You can always start your other story again here and introduce it slowly, take a day or two in between posting the previous seasons to give other readers some time to catch up

Yeah my board are pretty good the last upgrade I never asked for! So was fairly pleased when I saw it, I would have liked a few more seats for the new stadium and a better name!
My scout loved him! He rated Vuckic 5* so am hoping to keep him and hopefully he can develop into a world class player.
Agreed, the posst are already up so hopefully people can just read them before I post my new update.

I have played a few seasons on my other game I just need to write them up! I held off when the sites were moving so they have already been played!

Hey Ana,
Great signings there, I think you can do really well. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the best signing in my opinion, followed by Nenam. Alcacer is also really good. We expect you to win against Real Madrid as well!

Haha! Yes Zlatan! :).
One of my favourite players of all time, and one which will do you well I can assure you. Set him on the back post for corners and watch the goals fly in. Also make sure that you try and get him as a coach. I’ve heard that he is one of the best technical coaches around when he retires so be aware that he can offer you so much more!
Decent signings overall there though Ana, with loads of investment in the stadium and facilities I’m sure you will do much better next season.

Am glad you like him! Myself, I didnt when he played at Barcelona but hopefully he can make a brilliant return to Spain! I usually have my centre back doing that and it works well, I will try to get him as a coach will keep an eye on him!

Great to know your stadium and facilities will be upgraded!
I managed to get the best out of Lampard at the age of 35, so i’m sure if you do the same for Zlatan, he will perform also!

Yeah, he isnt too bad stat wise a bit slow but if I tweak a few things I should be able to play a style to get the best out of him!
