Hi everyone!! I hope your all enjoying Football Manager 2011. My game arrived today, and i played it straight away. I should have pre-ordered it instead, silly me!
Anyway my FM11 career will begin at…. Gigg Lane the home of Bury FC. Bury FC are a stable League 2 club and my challenge will be to get them to the top.
SO WHY BURY FC?
So why did I choose Bury FC? I chose Bury FC because it is where I live! Yes, I live in a small town called Bury, it is located in Greater Manchester. The stadium is right outside my window. I can watch Bury matches for free from my attick window. Cool Init?

We also made some history on the day I joined the club, funny isn’t it?
My assistant also compiled a squad report and the report wasn’t soo good. My best player has pretty poor attributes and i’ll need to change the team quiet a lot.
Now to the most intresting part, the season expectations!
Yes that’s right, i got absolutely zilch from the board!, absolutely zilch! Looks like i’ll have to sign my new players by mostly signing free transfers with the odd loan. Player sales is also an option but i doubt the board will give me anything from the sales. The board wanted a respectable position in the league but I have told them that i can achieve promotion….
My pre-season report will be up by Monday, I’m looking forward to this challenge, are you?

if u can see the pitch from ur window get intouch with soccar am thell come over and put it on tv sky 1 or sky sports 1 would love to see the shackers on tv

I am an avid Newcastle fan but would always support a fellow writer even if they managed Sunderland, its just a game at the end of the day and you dont know how frustrating it is to read something like that…you may even be joking around but when someone puts lots of time and effort into a post you should say something nice, productive or nothing at all in my opinion.

Good choice Sayam, going for your local team should make it a passionate story :) I envy you for living so close to the stadium, I always wanted that when I was a kid. Best of luck mate, make us proud! :)

Yeh I did and loved it…they are a good club to manage but I decided to leave on a high after been promoted to the Prem. Hopefully you’ll go well beyond this mate.
