Hi everyone, welcome back to my Bury post. I don’t think I have posted on consecutive days on this website, so this is a one off and don’t expect it to happen all the time! After last seasons below par campaign in the Premier League, and two finals lost, we definately needed improvements.
Start Of Season Expectations
The board wanted a continental finish and were prepared to offer a 48m budget, but I promised a title challenge increasing my budget by 9m. This budget has around 8m of a player departure in June. Also, we got a lot of money by participating in the final of the Champions League and coming 2nd in the League along with 40m TV Revenue!
Who Left The Club…?
The most notiable names in this list are Lastuvka, Pedro and Feghouli. Remember when I signed Lastuvka for 55k? And he was one of our best players in the first and second PL season… What a profit! And we got a lot of reward from his performances! I sold him because his performances dipped in the previous 2 seasons, and for a European club like us, we needed better back up. Pedro never really shined for us and at 30 years of age, it was the correct deal. 4m is not a lot, but i don’t want under par players in my squad. And we needed to sign a proper LW for once! Feghouli was signed for 1.6m around 30months ago, and constant game time, almost gave us a profit of 6m! Rafael was signed for 1m around 2 years ago, and after shining on loan at Partizan, I also sold him for a 7m profit. In total we had 27.5m coming in from outgoings along with a 57m budget! Plenty of money!
Who Joined The Club…?
We spent 42m! Some big transfers there are Besim Krivic, 14.5m (RB) and Vinicius, LW (17m) The free transfers are youth products, as is Stojanov.
Besim Krivic
Despite signing Besim Krivic, i did not sell Micah Richards because Krivic suffered an injury which would keep him out for 2 months! Also Micah is the vice captain at the club and English nationality also played a role.
He has good marking, tackling, positioning, work rate, bravery, concentration, pace attributes and with his age only being 21, he can improve still, as I experienced with Gino Kusters.
Jack Wilshere
I think we all know who this guy is, he will replace Lastuvka. He hardly got any opportunities for Arsenal, and at least I will not have a thought in my head of ‘what if he does not play well’ He is also English nationality!
Vinicius
Finally, a LW for the club! Cost 17m but who cares! I remember telling Johnny this, on one of his post that I maybe forced to buy a LW for a high price, just like he bought Tinga. Dribbling = 20! Crossing = 17, Technique =19, First Touch = 19, Determination = 18, Pace = 15!
Fabio Fiorentino
What a player! And he only cost 5m! After being dumped by AC Milan, despite his excellent attributes, most likely because they have Neymar and Sanogo in attack, he gladly joined us. I think he is our new poacher! Dribbling = 19, Finishing = 17, First Touch = 17, Heading = 19, Passing = 16. The only important attribute he lacks mentaly is concentration, however I’m almost certain he will not be another Lucas Carrera.
Squad List
Bury squad looks much stronger and more exciting by just looking at the screenshot! We are much stronger in squad depth this season!

Great signings Sayam! My fav’s are Vinicius and Fabio Fiorentino. There both incredible! Wilshere will also be a wonderful addition to the squad and the new right backs looks good too… Hopefully you can win back your title :-) Good luck!

Hi Sayam,
Those money are definitely well spent. Vinicius will solve your left wing problem. Forientino is a good buy for only 5 million. Too bad about the injury of Krivic. Overall you will in with a better chance to win back the title. Good luck.

Well done Sayam, you bought Wilshere for pennies and you have brought in two world class players in Vinicius and Fiorentino. Arsenal will be in trouble this season! :)

A new RB as a long term replacement for Micah Richards is also a good thing to have, some nice profit you made in player sales, especially Lastuvka, funny how low valued they are sometimes then their value shoots up once they perform in the premier league

Excellent signings Sayam, money well spent I reckon! Your new left winger and striker look fantastic, as does the right back. Hopefully you can also get Wilshere playing to his potential, and with your squad you should be close to the title. Good luck!

Brilliant pre-season Sayam. You signed some incredible players and also sold very sensibly. The new LW and ST could be the best in the biz with a little more experience and I think this year must see you dominate over Arsenal. Great work. Also don’t worry about the fees, you sometimes have to pay for the best. ;)
