Hi everyone, welcome back to my Bury story. Last time I left you with Bury at the top of the table, however Man City were the closest challengers with two games in hand and the next game was against us! It was a must win game! And this is how it went:
WOW! What a victory, my team turned up, City didn’t and the match was over in the first half. All of a sudden, in 45mins, City’s goals conceded column changed from 1 goal to 5 goals! This was just the confidence needed entering a packed winter schedule.
You would have thought we would have easily won the next two games, instead we dropped 4 costly points. We then lost against Wolves, thats easy points dropped also, and conceding late to Man UTD, which is now 9 points dropped. We also had a ridiculas schedule of playing Villa on a monday and Liverpool the next day, but we won both games.
Notice Araujo had only scored 7 goals in 17 games? He isn’t the same player as he was last season.
If you compare our results to Arsenals results then their is a massive contrast. They won all their games in this period apart from 1. They just seem to kill teams off, they are more efficient in attack and defence.
Just look at Arsenals team:
What a team! We all know who everyone is apart from Fort who is a 20m valued RB! They have excellent wingers, Excellent playmakers, brilliant holding midfielder, great defence and brilliant goalscorer! They seem unbeatable and it would be a huge task to overtake these guys.
League Table
League table is unsuprising, Arsenal run away leaders. Sam Allardyce, please forgive me for my harsh words at the start of my previous post :( Although you have inherited Wenger’s team :D We have conceded the same amount of goals as last season but are 2 points off. The leader at this stage last season had only 67 points compared to 74.
You know what, our results aren’t bad, it’s just we could have avoided all the 9 points (approximately) we dropped and could have been 4 points away from the top. We are in a race for second place.
Champions League
We beat Shakhtar twice and drew against Barcelona! This confirmed our place in the knockout stages and we will face Lyon, a lucky draw and we should be able to win the tie.
League Cup
We beat Sunderland in the quarter finals, and then we had to face Man City again! We won 3-1 on aggregate, despite City taking the lead in the second leg:
QUE SARA SARA WE’RE GOING TO WEMBLEY, WE’RE GOING TO WEMBLEY, QUE SARA SARA!
FA CUP
FA CUP isn’t the same as the League Cup as we are out of the competition. Birmingham beat us 1-0 at Gigg Lane in the 3rd round :( The board aren’t happy!
Average Ratings
Ze Carlos is our best player, signed for 5m two and a half seasons ago, he is my 3rd top scorer with 12 goals and my best and most reliable defender. No wonder Real Madrid and Arsenal have enquired for him! Dudu Cearense, my replacement for Ronaldo has 24 assists! He is good also. Arsenal enquired for him also as a possible replacement for Fabregas. Then comes my 18m signing Kevin Lorenz, who is our top scorer with 18 goals…
ZE CARLOS
Heading, Marking, Tackling, Concentration, Positioning, Stamina and Strength all = 17!!! Yikes!
DUDU CEARENSE
Anyway thanks for reading this post, I hope you enjoyed Arsenal’s rise. We have been the same as least season, just that Arsenal have grown even more under Sam Allardyce and they don’t want to lose the title they way they did last season.

You’re unlucky not to be top Sayam, but Arsenal look incredible. Hopefully you can get 2nd place, and also go further in the Champions League. Good luck in the League Cup final too!

Unlucky in the league Sayam, like you said some of those points dropped shouldn’t been but that’s the beautiful world of football. You mentioned a while ago how come EPL teams aren’t challenging my Newcastle while Arsenal are incredible in your game, well…I have noticed that every lower league game I start Premier League teams are ridiculously good by the time I get to the top flight. But when I start a game at the top, its a completely different scenario, very weird and not sure if its related.

Arsenal will probably win the title but you did a great job in the Champions League. Lyon will be tough to beat but you have a good chance I reckon. Good luck for the trip to Wembley! :)

12 of Dudus assists have come from corners I’d say since Ze Carlos scored 12 goals and Dudu has 19 for corners.
Anyway unlucky man Arsenal have an unreal team and 74 points in 27 games says it all.

Hi Sayam,
Can’t believe Arsenal’s rise. Maybe big Sam always like attacking football. Just that he always managed a small team and had to apply those negative tactics. Anyway, Arsenal is looking unbeatable at the moment but second place is a tight affair. I believe you can overtake Man Utd if Dudu and Ze Carlos keep on scoring. Good luck.

Blimey, Arsenal are on fire. Exactly the same in my game though, they are a massive club with great financial backing. Probably won’t be your year this year, but you never know what might happen to them!
Dispute that though, your challenging very well on all fronts. Wouldn’t underestimate Lyon though. Best side in France by a mile, although they could have gone awful in your save ;).
Ze Carlos looks to have been pivotal this season though, brilliant player that still has bags of potential left in him!

which Ronaldo is this playing DM?, and i’ve noticed that all the brazillian youngsters become like TOP CLASS? if you havent noticed this then i don’t know what to say!!!!!!. try sign Neymar if you can would be a great signing.
