Hi everyone, hope you are well! Todays update will contain the first half season report. After a quiet pre-season, signing only 3 players, it was time to start season 7. We signed Araujo for 9.25m, who should hopefully solve our goalscoring problems, which we had last season.
Firstly, I’m going to start this post differently, with our League Cup campaign.
We were unable to keep the League Cup at Bury for another season, Liverpool taking revenge for last season’s final defeat :(
League Results
An excellent star I say! Adebayor is scoring again, and also showing signs of the goals he scored in his first season for the club. I have rested him a lot against the weaker teams as I don’t want him to pick up injuries, and so far, so good! On the other hand, Araujo has scored 4 goals in the league, which is pretty frustating. I must say, after the first 3 games, I thought it would be the same season as last season, losing to all big teams and a top half finish. The most tense game for me in this period has got to be the 0-0 draw at Arsenal:
Arsenal has 58% possesion and 25 shots on goal, but somehow we still kept a cleansheet due to a magnificent defensive performance. My goalkeeper Luis Guilherme was Man of the match! :D
League Table
YES! In our fouth season in the Premier League, we are finally on course for a Champions League finish! We have two games in hand on 5th position Man City with a 4 point advantage! We are scoring goals, and our defense have been excellent this season.
Euro Cup
We comfortably qualified for the group stages with a 7-0 victory on AGG against Brugge. Then it was 100% record in the group and we obviously finished first. Notice Araujo scoring 7 goals in the group matches. Maybe he isn’t familiar with English football yet? Hmmm.
Average Ratings
Adebayor is back at the top of the list :D Notice Araujo is my top scorer! Despite only scoring 4 goals in the league. Players like Anotonio Quimbamba, Fahri Aytac, Gino Kusters and Ze Carlos have really stepped up this season which is a major reason to our great start! Luis Guilherme is definately our best signing. It’s very rare for a goalkeeper to have an average rating of 7.07 in top level of England.
January Transfer Window.
I have 16m to spend, and I will spend money. I need to find replacements for Ronaldo, Micah Richards and Pedro who will most likely be leaving in the summer. Ronaldo will be entering his last year in his contract, and he is already recieving 66k a week and has requested a transfer. However this hasn’t affected his performances.
Do you notice all the ‘WNT’ signings next to my players? Big clubs are intrested in my players! the likes of Barcelona is interested in Fahri Aytac!

That’s a really good start to the season Sayam, it looks like you’ll get a Champions League place, and you deserve it, in another season you’d probably be top with that points total. Hopefully with some good additions in January you can secure your place in the top 4, and hopefully get into the top 2, as that would be automatic Champions League qualification. Good luck!

Excellent form Sayam, you must gain a top four finish after that start! Such a shame to see Ronaldo wanting a move, but these things happen. Hopefully you can get a reasonable amount for him despite the contract coming to an end. Anyway, good luck for the next few months and please get CL football…this will open up the financial door. :)

Great to see Adebayor banging them in again, how old is he now? I think that Araujo will start to show his talent in the league at some point, some players need more time to adapt. I’m happy to see Luis Guilherme doing well especially since he’s going to join my Vauxhall next summer :)

Hey Sayam,
Brilliant start to the season, your destined to hold that place in the top 4 after overcoming loosing to the bigger teams. Adebayor seems immense on your save and you have really turned him round from a City reject, to a Premier league goal scoring machine!

Doing well there Sayam, give Araujo a season to get adapted to the Premier League, I gave Kadlec 2 seasons and he started banging in goals like crazy, they are both the same type of players I’d say
