Hello!
So bank holiday is today, and what better way then to relax and play FM after my team (Barcelona) won 4-1! So here is the next update up to the 28 game mark! Here we go!
My team are so determined to regain La Liga, and results have been fantastic. 11 straight wins including two 7-1 wins over both Getafe and Recreativo. A narrow win at Zaragoza and Mallorca were good as are two very hard places to go and win.
So we have a narrow 4 point lead over Atletico who are also having a great season. Barcelona have been cut adrift and it seems to be a two horse race for the title. Our goal difference is good in both scoring (86) and not conceeding (18).
Champions League
As expected two very good wins against a very good team. We grabbed two vital away goals very late on, which really gave us the advantage. At home we were 2-0 before they scored but we progressed into the quarter finals to meet Bordeaux a good French side.
But again am fairly confident my team can beat them and go into the semi finals of the competition.
Spanish Cup
Well we will not be winning this competition this year after being knockout in the semi final stage against Valencia, who will meet Real Madrid in the final. Murcia as expected were very hard to beat at home, but hopless travelers! And Almeria are a good strong team.
Valencia managed to pinch a win seconds from time, and we just couldnt score at the Mestalla despite dominating the game. Dissapointed but now we can focus everything on the league and the champions league.
Player Ratings
Kramaric has regained his form and is only three goals behind David, playing fewer games. Castaignos again leads the way with a rating of 7.58 and Krystov is playing so well at the back, partnered with our captain Leo at the moment.
Vandinho and Peter Lowe deserve a mention too for also playing really well for me this season.
So only 10 la liga games to go as we try our best to fend of Atletico Madrid and hunt for our first ever champions league trophy. Can we do it? Well keep reading to find out!

Well done Ana, 11 straight wins and i believe you will be the one laughing when the season ends. Based on your form, you should regain the title this season.

Nice-I dont want to jinx you but I think you’ll win the league! Also on 2 draws and 1 loss is amazing at this stage! What formation do u play now cos at the begining I remember you changed it alot?

Dang! You score a boatload of goals. But that Atl.Madrid ain’t too shabby either, who knew they would actually steady their ship in the future. It looks like you’ve set sail for the league title already… okay enough with the analogies.
It would be interesting to see what kind of tactical set-up you use. :)

@ Lye — Hopefully! But Atletico are in a similar run to ourselves and we have to play them at the vicente calderon, so I dont want my team to get complacent.
@ Joseph — Thanks! We are playing well at the moment. My formation, I will show you in my next post! Its a sort of 4-1-2-1-2 with wingbacks. Its very attacking!
@ Laxeyman — Thank you! My dream is to win the champions league and I feel over two legs we could beat any side to reach the final (provided we beat Bordeaux!). Fingers crossed!:)
@ Majk! — Posted just as I was replying! Thanks! Yeah thier strikeforce of Aguero and Balotelli is very strong, but our’s isnt too bad either. I will post my formation to show you how we set up!

Hi Ana, great job again! Your lads are scoring for fun and defending like lions, the title should be yours. You also have a good chance of going to the Champions League semi finals, Bordeaux are good but I doubt they can stop you.

@ Johnny — Thank you, I agree Bordeaux are a decent side but we should be able to beat them over two legs. And our league form has been excellent as you said, just hope we can hold off Atletico and win la liga again!
