Hello!
Welcome to my new post and welcome to season 2020! We began the season with a two legged tie in the Spanish super cup final against the team that beat us last year in both the league and cup Atletico.
We were missing a few players due to a few pre-season knocks but was confident I could win this trophy, so lets have a look at the results!
We let ourselves down in both legs, and is was Mario Ballotelli who scored all 4 goals for Atletico! We just couldnt contain his power and pace, but we also didnt get started.
Was a shame to get to a cup final and then play so badly but I am still confident we could get a good start in la liga.
Two 4-0 wins gave us confidence, and we then won 12 games in a row until, you guessed it!!, Balotelli struck a superb free kick to inflict our first defeat of the season. We stuttered a little picking up a draw against both Sevilla and Valencia but we beat Barcelona and hammered Real Madrid!
So a great start to the season, having a one point lead over Barcelona. Goals have flowed and our defence has been really good, we are playing really well at the moment.
Champions League And Spanish Cup
The group was good, but contained Tottenham a team we have beat before. We qualified but our final group game was a huge shock! We lost 3-0 at home to a very poor Torino side, I made changes but I really didnt expect that! We meet German table toppers Leverkusen who are top of the Bundesliga.
No real surprise but Kramaric was injured pre-season so was nice to give him these games to get fit and to grab a few goals. We meet Murcia who are a really tough side to beat, but am fairly confident we can progress over two legs.
Player Ratings
Well Castaignos continues to perform well scoring 20 times in 25 games from his attacking midfield role. Kramaric is also scoring after returning from an injury and Vandinho and David remain big threats. Am a little dissapointed with Bisaku our centre half but am confident he will improve once he settles down.
So thats that! My new post and am confident of winning at least one trophy. My main aim is to try and win the champions league but I also want to try and regain the la liga title. My squad has already proved to be good enough so I have high hopes this season!!:)

Goos Start, Balotelli Must Be Really Annoying By Now!
Your Form Now Is Similar To How My Atletico Team Have Performed In The Last Two Seasons, Win About 20 Games In A Row To Start, Then The Form Dips In The 2nd Half Of The Season, I Can’t Really Find A Solution For It.
You Should Be Wary Of Becoming Complacent In The 2nd Half

That’s a very good start, well done. Atletico seem to have something against you though, I hope you’ll get revenge in the second part of the season.

You’ve only lost one game so far in La liga which is tremendous and a huge win over Zenit in the Champions League. Great stuff.

Hi Ana, well done, a really good start there. The league looks very tight, but I’m confident you’ve got what it takes to pip Barca for the title. Castaignos has been fantastic, hopefully he can fire you to glory on all fronts!

What a great run of results at the start, 12 wins in a row. It seems you can fend off the challenge of Barcelona to regain the title back. At Madrid is your curse. I hope you can get one over them in your next meeting.Well done.

@ Martin — He is! He also scored a hat-trick against me last year! Yeah, I try to rotate players who are not giving 100% with players who have a point to prove. Hoping that will keep my squad fired up all season!
@ Johnny — Thanks, yeah they are my new arch rivals! They do have a really good squad, but am hoping I can beat them to the la liga title this year!
@ Kevin — Ha! Thanks, have nothing planned though! :( Yeah a good start, and the Zenit game we were 1-0 down after 37 seconds!!
@ Laxeyman — Agreed! He is in great form, but I seem to say it alot! He is just brilliant have got him to sign a new 5 year deal, and am so pleased at that!
@ Lye — Thank you, Barca are much improved and have spent quite big this season. Atletico it seems will be the team to beat, with Aguero and Ballotelli thay have a world class strikeforce!!
@ Warren — Yeah! My team always score goals, its how I like to play! For example I would rather win 4-3 than 1-0, dont ask me why I just like it better that way! Am tempted to buy Ballotelli so he stops scoring against me!!!

@ tam — I just use print screen on the screen I need, then just paste it into paint. Then just resize etc and save.

I recommend a freeware program called PicPick, I find it easy to use and reliable.
