Losing the Newcastle passion

Hello again football manager’s, and this post is short and quite a sad one for me.

I have lost passion in my Newcastle game, hence the low amount of posts in the last month or so. It has only been a season but I do not feel I want to continue playing a save I don’t enjoy. I am going to start off with a new team in a new save shortly but I am not sure what team to pick, and that is the reason for this post. Although I am not going to put up a poll, I would like to ask you for a challenge for me to post to you about. I am not bothered what country they play in or whatever I am just looking for something interesting!

Thank you for your patience and hopefully suggestions,

Calum.

    Hi Calum
It is tough to find a challenge that isn’t already on the site as the range of stories on the website is great. However I think you would enjoy a journeyman save starting low in a foreign league and trying to aim for the top jobs. But at the end of the day its your choice and good luck with whoever you pick

I agree with matt…y don’t you start with a team in the south african league and aim to manage one of the top sides in europe…

    Hello Calum
I know the feeling as it as happened to me so I’m sorry you have stopped but understand at the same time. I know for my next save I will focus on where the game takes me rather than just staying at one club until I’m satisfied with the trophy cabinet.
Here’s my suggestion, perhaps you have a favorite manager and you could see how they started their career and use that team as a jumping off point knwoing that if you did well offers would come in from other clubs. Just a thought….

You could start unemployed and then see what fate has to offer. Just a wild thought, you should think it over and don’t rush the decision.

Calum, many of the blogsyou fined on the internet about fm 2010 are ones about someone managing a lower league english team, and there getting quite boring now…. Just a thought, but I think you should be a team from a forign country, China, Brizil, or a european country etc. Spice things up a bit!

every time i get a fm game,my first team to manage is san lorenzo from argentina and make it win the copa libertadores(champions league from south america),which never happened in real life….

after that i usually go to manage in the bug leagues, spain, england and italy…..

but my recomendation would be to manage a scandinavian team,i had wonderful memories in older version of the game managing dif from sweden and molde from norway wining continental titles, though the winter holyday is quite tedious…
