Hello again and welcome to my newest addition to the Newcastle story. In this post I will tell you of my recent results and a few transfers that I have made.
Transfers
Before moving on to the fixtures, I would like to tell you of a few transfers I have made for next, and this, season.
I have made a couple of loan signings to bulk up the squad for the remainder of the season, especially after the disappointing injury of Macheda for a couple of weeks. I signed Javier Acuna, a striker, and Nemanja Matic, a centre midfielder.
I have also bought Francis Coquelin on permanent but his stats are rather uninteresting, so I won’t need to show you them. I hope he can develop into a good player in the future.
In the last few weeks I have also secured some players on bosmans for next season, here they are:
Jimmy Briand is a French striker with bags of pace, so I hope he will be tough for the Premier league defenders to pick up next year. He is very determined and works very hard so I am sure he will be a success here at St James’ Park.
Jose Goncalves is a beast of a centre half who is quick and strong. He has great attributes in important areas apart from his mental attributes, but I hope with experience they will improve. He should do well with us.
Bernardo is a young Brazilian midfielder who has great technical and mental attributes. He is the only player out of the three players that I have to pay money for, as he will cost me £1million. I just hope his work permit is accepted as he looks like a good player, especially as he is only 19.
Results
So, here are my recent results:
Before describing my results, I know that the picture is a bit weird but my paint wasn’t working great on this pic :D You can still see it though.
I was delighted to see that we were through to the League Cup Final, after a 2-1 defeat meant we won 3-2 on aggregate! We shall play Tottenham in the final, which is my next game.Our league form has went slightly downhill a bit but it doesn’t mean much as we are still 20 odd points ahead!

Francis Coquelin from Arsenal? If its the same one I had him on a Wimbledon game from last year and he was probably my favourite player on it!
Your two bosman signings looks fantastic! But I fear that Bernando may be denied a work permit, but I have my fingers crossed for you!

Hi Calum, you’ve made some good singings there, they should serve you well in the Premier League, especially Bernardo, he is world class on my Liverpool game, which is in 2014, so he should be good in the future for you. Good luck against Tottenham, hopefully you can cause an upset!

That said I have never fully understood how work permits work in England but am glad you have signed him as he looks very promising.

Ana: Thank you, yes that is the one I signed! I hope he can become a good player. Him and Bernardo in midfield could become a good partnership in a few years.
