The FM 2017 player profile of Alex Meret shows a solid young goalkeeper that could become a reliable shot-stopper in the future. He can’t be bought at the start of the game because his loan deal at Spal has a set buying fee included, but most likely Spal won’t have the funds to trigger that clause.
In my test save he managed to move to England at Tottenham, then at West Ham and eventually he became the number one choice at Everton.
His goalkeeping attributes developed pretty well, his mental attributes are also quite impressive, along with his agility and strength. I’d buy him as soon as possible, he can develop very well and become a solid goalkeeper at any club.
