Cristean Manea should be one of many potential FM 2016 wonderkids. A Romanian right back, Manea has already made his full International debut and featured in Romania’s top flight as a first team regular for Viitorul. Chelsea paid a small fee for such a big talent, holding off interest from the likes of Arsenal and Ajax.
I would consider Manea a wing back, never afraid to get forward he offers width and a reliable overlap. Quick, agile and mentally strong for his age Cristean seems to be very well rounded. Good crossing and dribbling ability are supported by the will to pass and move forward as opposed to back. Manea stands little chance of bursting onto the scene soon at Chelsea so who knows, maybe we’ll have a cheap wonderkid come the second season in FM 2016.

What should we expect from this FM 2016 wonderkid? Good pace, crossing, dribbling and a great base of mental attributes to build from. Every year there seems to be a lack of great young full backs in FM, I think Manea could be one of the solutions for 2016.
