The FM 2016 player profile of Louis Schaub shows a versatile young attacking midfielder, with potential to play in Europe’s best clubs. He isn’t dirt-cheap at the start of the game but not expensive either, I think buying him would be a good investment given his potential and versatility.
In my test save he moved to the premier League at Southampton and after a few decent seasons he was bought by Chelsea. I think his development made him a valid candidate for any of Europe’s top clubs, not as a star but as a useful player.
He can cover all positions in attacking midfield and various roles, thanks to his well-balanced overall attributes. You can’t find any major flaws in his profile, it’s true that he can’t become Maradona or Messi but he can become a highly reliable and efficient squad player.
