This FM 2016 player profile of Jose Gaya shows probably the best wing back in FM16. Fast, defensively able, a good dribbling and delivers an amazing cross. Quality wing backs can turn a good team into a great one and Gaya is my dream on the left, hes the only full back I’d pay more than £30 million for. During our test save he developed 16 and above for crossing, anticipation, concentration, decisions, off the ball, work rate, pace, agility and acceleration. His most important defensive attributes reached 15.

Yes he is another option, not on the same level in terms of PA but certainly a good player and especially considering the price.

I play with a Man Utd save. First season, I brought in Mario Fernandes and Sime Vrsaljko for RB, and used Darmian and Shaw as my LBs. Second season I sold Darmian to RM for 50 mil and bought Jorge. I’m in March of my second season, and already Shaw has become almost unstoppable, winning the European Kid award and being shortlisted for the World Golden Ball.
