The FM 2016 player profile of Fran Villalba shows a remarkable young talent, capable of becoming a very good attacking midfielder in the future. The asking price at the start of the game is fairly reasonable, even though he might not want to leave his boyhood club easily. In my test save he remained at Valencia until 2021, but spent a few seasons at other top-flight clubs, including Palermo and Marseille.
His best season was in France, where he provided 13 assists and a pair of goals. His technique developed very well and his free-kick taking ability also became excellent. He also developed great flair and vision, making him a solid candidate for the advanced playmaker role.
