The FM 2016 player profile of Danilo shows an excellent young defensive midfielder, with potential to become a leading top-flight player anywhere in the world. He won’t be available to buy right away as Valencia have already agreed a transfer with Braga at the end of the loan deal, but he’s definitely worth adding to your shortlist for the future.
In my test save he moved to AC Milan for 30 million and then, after a season and a half of good performances in the Serie A, he was sold to PSG for no less than 52 million pounds. His steady performances also earned him a few caps for the Brazilian national team by the age of 25.
He has everything a good defensive midfielder needs, starting with a strong physical presence and great stamina, added to solid mental attributes along with the capacity to tackle, mark the opponent but also pass the ball when in possession.
