Robert Muric had an indifferent start to his professional footballing career. He failed to make a first team appearance for Dinamo Zagreb, where he was developed, but that was down to Dinamo trying to keep him out of the public eye so they could get him to sign a professional contract before selling him on for big money like Modric and Halilovic. Muric though, didn’t want to follow in the footsteps of those players and refused to sign a contract, then Ajax swooped in. Dinamo claim his contract was up in 2015 and not 2014 though and a whole legal battle has insued, it is claimed that to this day Zagreb are still fighting the case in court.
Muric has attracted interest from big clubs, and rightly so. His direct running at defenders, and his wonderful scoring ability make him one of the best players of his age group in Europe. His style is reminiscent of Eden Hazard, and at a club like Ajax you would expect nothing but this lad reaching his full potential. Due to him being excluded from any competitive football for nearly a year, we haven’t seen what Muric is really capable of, but from what we’ve seen so far, this lad is going to be one of the FM 2015 Wonderkids who your gonna want to keep an eye on. Expect a PA of maybe -9.

What should we expect from this FM 2015 wonderkid? From what I’ve seen of him, he could be a deadly inside forward playing from the left, and he should also be very good as second striker in AMC. His pace should be good, with dribbling and finishing being his highest attributes, as well as wonderful technique and I would also expect him to have reasonable passing, creativity and long shots (something every good inside forward should have!). What we can expect then is a wonderkid who can play anywhere along the front line with aplomb !
