Gabriel Barbosa profile in 2014 (after starting new game, patch 15.3)
Gabriel Barbosa profile aged 25 in the year 2022
Gabriel Barbosa career history until 2022
This FM 2015 player profile of Gabriel Barbosa shows the complete forward, this kid has everything, speed, dribbling, finishing and an eye for the assist. Starting the game with good CA is always a bonus and Gabriel can certainly score from the get go. In my test save Barbosa developed scary all round ability, the majority of his mentals reached a minimum of 15, while finishing, dribbling, passing, technique all hit minimum 16. With lightening acceleration and agility this kids got the lot.
I couldn’t pin down Barbosa’s best role, he could do many so pick based on your team and what is required in your system. £8 million would be a bargain, unfortunately you also need to pay the agent equaling a total of £24.25 million. I still think he’s well worth the investment.

Don’t know, he looks better than what I saw of him in 14, but I reckon he will have flexible ability again.

Deadly striker in all my FM 14 saves. Can you please take a look at Luka Jovic from Red Star? He looks impressive..

We will when we find a test save in which he has progressed well, but as yet we don’t have one.

Looks like poacher still the best role for Barbosa. Next, probably Advanced Forward.

I’d say so.

Btw, if you transfer Barbosa right away from the start of the game, did he join your club right away or join your club in August?
I want to make sure about Brazil’s rules there.
Darren Smith
October 30, 2014 at 12:06
I believe he signs right away.

October 31, 2014 at 09:35
I see.
Well, I already said this before. In FM 2014, Barbosa won’t join your team right away if you transfer him at the start of the game because of rules in Brazil. Because of that I want to make sure of that here.

Barbosa or Lukaku?
Who do you recommend?

Very close call, depends on how good they can get in your particular game but I’ve always had a soft spot for Lukaku.

Sounds crazy but managed to have him join me in first season for Villareal and now I’ve got a false 9 formation, do I play Barbosa or Vietto? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would rotate them both and see who performs best.

A great shooter. His PA is 180. In my FM in Milan , so far in 150 matches 130 goals . Striker complete. European Golden Boy 2017 and winner of the FIFA Ballon d’Or 2019. He and Carlos (also PA 180 ) is the future stars of attack Brazil. Best striker (along with Carlos ) in the world in my career all over the FM 15 – and both play for one club :) Barbosa: http://zapisz.net/view.php?filename=961_fm_2015_07_30_10_28_40_75.png Carlos: http://zapisz.net/view.php?filename=239_fm_2015_07_30_10_29_40_53.png

I think his potential is flexible, I bought him in the last game a few seasons in for £30 mil after Wolfsburg poached him early on, he also suffered a few injuries. That in hindsight is maybe what ruined him for me. He’s more of a creative type than a prolific scorer. He’ll link your team together which makes him a good number 10 type player or even an attacking mid, but he was frustratingly inconsistent and I felt all the hype about him wasn’t warranted.
Malcom on the other hand, 5 or 6 seasons in he’s scored 50+ goals for two seasons running for me.
