This FM 2015 player profile of Emre Can shows one of the most versatile players capable of walking into almost any side around Europe. Most comfortable in central midfield Emre is also effective at left back and defensive midfield. I prefer him in the middle as a deep lying playmaker or central midfielder personally. In my test save he developed great passing, all round mental attributes and good attributes across most technical stats whether they be attacking or defensive.
The downside, I don’t think he’ll ever really be affordable unless you are a big team or get lucky.

He would work in both…TBH I think a decision on which is better should be made on your other players and the system you want to play.

With his future stats in mind, CM/S would be an ideal role to place him. Much better pace than Ruben Neves who is more suited for CM/D tbh.
