This FM 2014 player profile of Aymeric Laporte shows a solid young defender, probably one of the best young centre backs in the game. It will be very difficult to lure him away from Athletic Bilbao though, they want 30 million for him at the start of the game and the player doesn’t want to move either.
In my test save he remained at the Basque club until 2019 when Chelsea bought him for over 20 million pounds. His progress wasn’t as good as it could have been, it can surely be better with human management. However, he developed solid attributes overall, good in the air and also reasonably quick for such a strong player.
