This FM 2014 player profile of Nicolas Nkoulou shows a strong central defender, who is destined to be chased by Europe’s elite. In my Newcastle save Nkoulou has been instrumental in guiding us to the Champions League crown and EPL title. A sturdy performer he rarely puts a foot wrong and is quite versatile. You could use him as an anchor man, in his best role of central defender or even as a ball playing defender (where I use him to great effect.) Looking at his composure, decisions and positioning of 18 in my game, its obvious why he rarely makes mistakes.
Maybe a little pricey at £22 million. However, that asking price does seem to drop a little if you get lucky…I landed him for £4.5 million, but I doubt that would happen too often.

I got him for 17M for Liverpool 1st season. He’s a beast, kick both Agger and Skrtel to the bench.
