This FM 2014 player profile of Mateo Kovacic shows one of the most talented young midfielders in the world, already very good at the age of 19. Unfortunately Inter just snapped him up from Dinamo Zagreb, so you will have to spend 17.5 million pounds to get him at the start of the game.
I think he might be worth that price tag though, considering his potential and future development. In my test save his technical attributes went up quite nicely, 20 for free kick taking, 18 for dribbling and solid values over 15 for most of the others. He also has solid speed and very good mental attributes as well, especially on the creative side. PSG managed to get him for around 20 million in my test save, so I guess there is some hope of getting him cheaper.
The numbers in his first season at PSG are very impressive: 22 assists and 3 goals in 37 apps. Needless to say he becomes a legend for the Croatian national team.

He is great indeed. About those screen shots, we have multiple test saves and the teams are not the same in each, so it would be a rather futile process. But we might make a series of posts about teams in the future, like we had last year.

Wow he really is a beast,but i suggest you take a look at some other promisng youngsters from Croatia that are available for more realistic prices like Karlo Lulic who is available for a bargain price of 500k at the start of the game and will sign gladly for most of the championship sides and can become a beast at central midfield.Also take a look at Marko Kolar,striker from Dinamo youth ranks who grows into a beast of a striker for the upper table teams.http://i.imgur.com/6L4NCIC.png-Just look at his stats at mature age of 20.He has lightning speed,great physical and mental ratings paired with very good finishing and movement.

You should take a look at Rosenborgs Ole Kristian Selnæs. Yo can buy him for around 500k, and has lots of potential
