This FM 2014 player profile of John Stones shows a very talented and young English defender, he can become a solid top-flight centre back in the future. Everton are willing to let him go for 13 million at the start of the game, I guess that price will be double in FM 2015 if he makes the World Cup squad.
He was unable to bloom quickly in my test save, Everton kept him as a fringe player until 2016 when they offloaded him to Newcastle. That was probably a mistake as the lad turned in solid performances for the Magpies, especially in the last three seasons. He developed very good strength, jumping, heading and tackling, along with the necessary mental attributes for a centre back. He also managed to become a natural right back, that versatility might prove useful.
