This FM 2014 player profile of Facundo Cardozo shows a well rounded central defender with good technique. The only real weakness is jumping reach, which can prove quite important for most managers, but bar that this kid ticks all the boxes. In my test save he performed very well in both Portugal and France, Cardozo developed very nice defensive attributes, a strong and fast physique as well as the ability to move the ball out from the back calmly…if you could work on that passing he’d make a nice ball playing defender for sure. £6 million seems reasonable to me.
