This FM 2014 player profile of Eliaquim Mangala shows a sturdy defender that can perform at the highest level. During my test save Mangala developed fantastic physical attributes underlined by amazing strength, good jumping ability and good pace. He’s a hard worker that can anticipate danger and is hard to shake off. In almost all my saves he moves to a top team like City, Chelsea or Real Madrid. Just a shame that the low asking price of £9 million is almost doubled by the third party buyout demand.

Very sturdy and reliable center back, just a shame that his attitude stinks. While managing FCP, he always stated that he wanted to move to a bigger club this in spite of winning Portuguese league undefeated and going till the Champions League Semi-Final.
