FM 2014 Mattia Alessandro Florenzi history

This FM 2014 player profile of Alessandro Florenzi shows a box to box midfielder with great potential and the ability to walk into most sides around Europe. The screenshots from Jack’s game show Florenzi as the ultimate complete midfielder, he can dribble, pass, shoot and enjoys a great work ethic with fantastic work rate, teamwork and determination. Due to some reasonable physical attributes he makes for a great utility man also, able to cover a number of positions from MC to MR and AMR but I think he’s best used as a box to box midfielder from the centre.

While £13 million is a lot of money, this kid can walk into your first team from day one, so I think it would be money well spent for those who have it.

Agreed. Going to sign him for my Southampton side to replace Schneiderlein. On another subject, do you think it is generally best to train players so they excel in at least 1 or 2 stats, or do you take a more broad-based approach. I look at Florenzi’s 2017 stats and his technicals are pretty middling. Do you think he would be better served with a more specialized focus? I’ve been using your dynamic 4-2-3-1 tactic, so he’d obviously slot right in as the b2b. Thanks!

I always take a more broad approach I’d say, but it does vary with the player. I think just generalizing the training is best for him, though it depends what you want from your B2B…I like mine to be very well rounded hence my training, but some prefer the B2B to dribble well in which case you should focus on that etc.
