This FM 2013 player profile of Xherdan Shaqiri shows one of the most famous young talents in the game, a player with amazing speed and agility plus brilliant technique. If you are at a top club and you need a great inside forward or winger then Shaqiri can surely be a viable option. However, you will have to prepare some cash as Bayern want 20 million for the lad at the start of the game.
In my test save Shaqiri remained at Bayern and did a pretty good job, value almost doubled in 2019, also managing to improve his speed and technique a bit along with some progress in the mental attributes area. A very good player overall but I think you could find good options at more affordable prices. Then again, I guess you could turn him into something close to a new Messi with proper human management.

I decided to be rash and splashed £19 million on him (after selling Luis Suarez) in the 2nd season and he turned out to be a devastating inside forward. Rotating between Coutinho, Shaqiri and Lamela, the 3 of them are just brilliant!

He always created problems when playing against him, great technique and incredible flair. And the price is not that big considering the quality.

Unsettled him in the first transfer market and Bayern ticked him off so I paid only………….7.75m!!!!!!! Although that is the first time in many saves that I have ever gotten him that cheap
