Szczesny is probably the best all round, young keeper of FM13. He can develop perfect attributes in command and communication, leading to a solid back line and many clean sheets. Add good all round ability, to reasonable mental stats and a rare ability to come out on top during one on ones (which seems to be missing for many top keepers this year) and you have a super star. Class keeper, a little pricey at £22 million but I can’t ignore his quality when offering 10/10.

That is a real tough one, I would probably struggle to pick them apart so it would come down to who was available cheapest.

If you plan using your keeper as a sweeper then Ter-Stegen is better for his good pace. Otherwise I agree with Darren.

Volland i signed Leno along side szczesny in my arsenal save (Szczesny had a long term injury) and he made szczesny my number 2, (found it difficult to keep both happy) really hard to pick between them tbh.

Same problem in my LFC. I got both Ter Stegen and Szczesny :P I first brought Ter Stegen then Szczesny got unhappy at Arsenal and could be signed for about £11-12 mio., which I personally couldn’t resist :P

He is fantastic. His high communication helps my defenders(vermaleen and koscieny) very much as we often concede the least goals in the league. He is definitely the best young keeper in the game.

There wouldn’t be much point, everybody knows his ability and he’s already at a reasonably well developed level so for most readers it wouldn’t be insightful let alone the cost of purchasing him.

Depends on your tactic more than the player, if you use a high defensive line then sweeper keeper, if not then just goalkeeper.

Please comment under the same name, as it gets confusing who we’re responding too. As for the questions, I’d probably have a toss up between De Gea and Szczesny but couldn’t separate them. But De Gea is too obvious, difficult to sign and expensive for a profile, just combination of all that prevents us.

Hope you find a good screenshot for Fraser Forster, because he’s only 24 and his CA is from a top GK, I manage him, and he never let me down, olny consistent performances with some brilliant one on one saves and some crucial penalty defenses, very excited to see how much better he can be.

BTW, have you ever take a look at Christian trasch? not a young star and kind of a limited side defender, but very very very solid player, pretty much secure in the game and not so expensive, can be used on booth sides (LB or RB) and also already played him as ball winning player in the middlefild, just in excepcional ocasions, but he did pretty well. very nice stats like teamwork, workrate, bravery, fitness, concentration, tackling and marking. don’t know if he gets much better, I hope you can tell me. thanks for attention.

Does look like a good signing if you need backup or playing as lower top flight club. Unfortunately not improved in any of my saves, whether he’s at his limit or the AI can’t develop him I’m not sure.
