Career Stats

This FM 2013 player profile of Lucas Romero comes with thanks to Danilo, one of our readers. Romero has grown into one of the best ball winning midfielders around, those attributes do all the talking. Untouchable mental stats, with great tackling, marking and outstanding strength and speed. This kid is the complete article.

Even if your Romero can’t reach these hefty heights due to injuries, he’s still well worth £7 million…but should you get everything from this lad, then its an absolute bargain.

Best buy rating: 10/10

looks great mental and physical attributes very good, be interesting to see how you could develop him under human management, a bit similar to Cirigliano

He certainly does have an air of Cirigliano about him, I’d expect much more from human management.

Wow. Such a player. Been looking for a CM like him for a long time. Thanks Darren

He is one that I only saw once the latest patch had been released, surprised since he’s such a good prospect.

that’s why I cannot find him. Him and Cirigliano are perfect for the midfield. might want to attempt a pure Argentina XL in England

Injury Proneness might be the reason that he had not reached his potential.

While that is possible, I think it could also be the countries he has played in, had an English, Spanish or Italian club snapped him up with regular first team football I reckon that development would look much better.

Not to be picky, but you might want to swap ‘Brazilian’ for ‘Argentinian’

Decided to spend £8m on this guy in second season nd get Darren Fletcher to tutor him, so lets see how he develops under human management.

Would he be a better Ball Winning Midfielder (Defend) in CM than Crisetig?

    • Darren Smith

      28 марта, 2013 at 11:46

Depends on what you want, when developed Crisetig can’t be touched for his ability to win the ball back and turn up during important matches, but if you want someone who will get down and play a bit more then Romero is best.

Imo yes. Crisetig would be best suited as a deep lying playmaker. You would have a pretty good midfield if u could get both players

Good player.. but Cirigliano is much better imho…

Cirigliano is better, but not better at the start of the game making Romero much easier to develop seen as you can start him from the off.

The one in the picture is Brian Ferreira, another great wonderkid, Lucas Romero looks similar but is shorter.

he is very talented player right at the game start. his determination and influence can raise to very high levels thus, this lad is perfect canditation for your team captain because he has very determined personality. the team under his captainship will never know tiring and losing confidence.

I bought him for swansea and he is already doing very nice job.

oh injury proneness is probably a joke because this lad doesnt gets injured lol.

He is a real talent, I can’t speak for the injuries other than say the scouts sometimes get it wrong so personal experience (which you’ve had) is more reliable.

darren please look for Corentin Jean from Estac Troyes. he is looking really nice.

I have this guy on my Newcastle save and, although he’s an absolute beast in midfield, he does have a massive problem with injuries. It’s pretty frustrating and my patience with him is running out!

Great young player. Used him as a ball winning midfielder i an arsenal save and he develeoped so much. Can also deputise well at right back with a bit of training,

He certainly looks great, I just signed him with Basel so will be interesting to see how he develops in a so called lesser league.

Just got him for free in january 2014 together with Son Heung-min, I was a little unsure if I was going to sign him but after watching this screenshot there was no doubt about it.

Thats a great buy, I did the same for Basel, you can’t go wrong for free even if he fails to reach this level.

Hey Darren , is Javi martinez in ur list? i believe he’s the current world best dmc/mc among the wonderkids

    • Darren Smith

      8 июля, 2013 at 18:35

He’s very well known, impossible to sign straight away and incredibly expensive, the three combined stopped us from profiling…but yes he’s one of the best for sure.

I’m playing your 451 fluid tactic Darren, do you reckon he’ll better suited as the cm support or cm defend? Cheers

        • Darren Smith

          26 июля, 2013 at 17:39

He could do either but I’d probably use him as MC defend due to the lack of quality players for that role that can also still play Football. Its much easier to find a supporting midfielder.
