This FM 2013 Player Profile of John Stones shows one of the best English prospects in FM13. Stones is very versatile, almost as good at CB as he is full back. So depending on what you require, this kid can be molded to fill two different positions. The screenshot above shows Stones with good defensive attributes, a really strong player but also one with technique and good passing ability. However, the AI has not developed this kid to his full potential, human management should get much more.
For £13 million you are getting one of the best English talents available and one with huge potential the AI couldn’t hit, but I’m sure you will. My rating is too high based on these screenshots alone, but Stones deserves an 8.5/10 purely for the promise of what he could be.

You can’t make a club accept an offer nor make a player want to move…its probably more to do with the fact he’s just moved to Everton too.

Another good young Englishman,there is potentially an amazing England squad once you 4-5 years into the game. Just a shame that not all of them develop well on my saves.

Hmmmm, having stumbled across this and just beginning my Everton save, I am in a dilemmma as to how to try and develop him. I initially have gone for CB due to his size and lack of natural pace. I think I will stick to that for now and see how he goes.

Yeah I’d probably say CB is a good move due to his natural pace and acceleration.
